A Grave Mistake(Closed, ATTN: Bengera)

2km below Tellez Mountains, The Master M

Two kilometres below the monstrous Tellez Mountains, deep within The Master M, lay the ‘secret’ underground headquarters of the Master M Intelligence Service (MMIS). The complex stretched for miles, a warren of high-tech tunnels and rooms, and had cost several times more than the annual budget of the MMIS to build.

Walking along one of its polished steel and glass corridors, Minister Josef Martins once again marveled at the beauty of the place. Worth every penny, he thought to himself.
He reached a large door, which automatically opened as he approached. The room beyond was vast; hundreds upon hundreds of analysts scurried to and fro, most of them attending to some sort of electronic device. This room was where every shred of intelligence gathered by the vast MMIS was analyzed and processed, before being passed on to the concerned government department.

He stepped into a glass lift, which took him down a further three levels. The room beyond the lift had close to a dozen armed guards lounging around outside of it, for this was the most important room of all; this was where the forces of The Most serene Republic were directed from in times of war. Times like now.

“Good morning gentlemen. What's the latest news?” enquired the soft tones of the Minister, directing the question to the group of serious looking military personnel who were hunched over one of several electronic displays scattered around the room. The display in question was showing real-time footage of the Baltic Isles, the territory that had recently been annexed by Bengera

“They’ve not moved their troops from the island sir,” replied a rather stout man, wearing the uniform of a General of the AMSR. His face told the story of a man that had seen many fierce battles, and much loss.

“Any idea of the enemy strength General?”

“We have limited intelligence Minister, our spy on the island was compromised sometime yesterday. However, sonar buoys indicate several submarines in the water, and the eye in the sky has picked up at least 20 ships, with more on the way. Troop numbers are unknown, but thought to be around four thousand.”

“What about aerial capabilities?”

“Satellite imagery has also picked up several fully staffed fighter and bomber squadrons based on airfields on the island itself, but they could have many more VTOL fighters hidden somewhere ”

“Very well, General Thompson, organize an attack immediately!” With his presence no longer need, Josef turned and left the way he came, thinking only of the tennis match he was scheduled to play against the King of Lizardiar tomorrow…

Nicholas Trotshev shook his head and turned to the Minister of War.

"It's confirmed," he said, with a half smile on his face, "The Master M is declaring war. Now listen carefully. It's time for war. Send 700,000 more troops to the Baltic Isles. We said that we would protect them, we must follow through."

The Minister of War slowly but surely walked towards a bookshelf. He pulled out a file that seemed to be hiding between all the books. On it, in red were the words, "Defence of the Baltics." It contained a detailed plan of troops to be used for the defence of the Baltic Isles.

Ground Forces
Taken from the Bengerian 8th Army, Bengerian 2nd Army
55nd Airborne Division, sending in 34,000 troops
41th Airbourne Division, sending in 65,000 troops

"These are just the ground forces," The Minister commented, "Aircraft will take off from Bengera and will fight in the Baltic Isles. Our troops number 99,000, so we should be able to take on the Master M. Navy-we will discuss that later. Our camps in the Isles-quite a few have been built and a few are under construction. You ready, Mr. Trotshev?"

Nicholas smiled. "I should be asking you that," he said, "Now order the attack."
