A convoy of over 800 Mesoland trading ships headed for Maxtopia have mysteriously in the Pacific ocean. We are requesting military and search and rescue aid, though we are unsure as to what may lurk there. The ships were lost somewhere in the North Pacific, about 2,000 miles from land. Any military operations must be authorised by the Mesoland government, though I can assure you that we will be accepting 99% of requests. We'll do anything to get our ships back... Also our Defence spending is high as it is a priority with our Government. We will send an appropriate taskforce as soon as we gain further knowledge.

OPERATION MINOTAUR
(The United Kingdom of Whitehalll's part in the search and rescue operation.)

Although we still do not have much information here is our planned taskforce:

- HMS Decisive
The Queen Elizabeth II class supercarrier will serve as our Operating base and Command Centre for the duration of the operation, this is also where our air support (see below) will be stationed.

-Merlin HM1 Helicopter (x5)
To provide aerial assistance to the search.

-WS-61 Sea King Commando (x15)
See above.

-MQ-9 Reaper UAV (x2)
Can fly continuously for over 20 hours.

-Tornado F3 (x10)
Able to search long ranges.

-Sentry AEW1 (x1)
Its airborne warning and control system will aid the search enormously.

-Type 45 Destroyer (x3)
HMS Victor, HMS Dauntless and HMS Gallant will be deployed as general patrol vessels.

More vessels/aircraft may be deployed upon more information or a change in the current situation.
