Subject: A Misunderstanding.
Greetings.
Firstly, we would like to thank the many Nations whom have commended Globexanter, aiding us mentally and physically in the matter of this near slavery. We also understand the reasons & ideology of the Anti-Slavery states whom have condemned these actions resulting in trade embargoes and near wars.
There has, however, been a massive misunderstanding on this matter by us at The United Kingdom of Globexanter and the International Community itself whom we are all to blame for. There has also been faults & errors in the matter which has allowed this to be passed in the Globexian Parliament (including the legislation itself). These errors & faults have permitted Slave traders (foreign & national) to exploit the systems set up by the Government, countorning the regulations & bypassing the civil right group checks upon the slaves. This has resulted in problems & shame upon their own industry and resulting in sending the entire industry into a counter-productive sector.
That is why, following another series of votes, that the legislation allowing "Slavery" in The United Kingdom of Globexanter has been repealed, this resulting in all resident slave industries being shut down and the complete banning of slavery in Globexanter. This does however not mean that our Government shall support anti-Slavery Nations or Pro-Slavery Nations in wars or conflicts. The Parliament has also been making a point clear that foreign pressure had absolutely nothing to do with the repealing of this legislation, also noting that the choice was entirely made by Globexian citizens.
We at the Foreign Office are now officially apologizing for any misunderstanding and/or confusion this matter has created.
