He's agree'd to take off tariff(s) of Kylarnatian Imported Goods into Anagonia-Yohannes, which will save me more money in the long term.

So I'm afraid sir, I'm making money easier ;)

If you're buying off him you can only lose money. If he's buying off you, you're earning money. I thought you were buying off him.

It's a bit of both. Because I'm not going to have to pay tariff(s) though, I will be making a bit of positive excess. Though I MAY be buying some. Either way, I will be making money.

Come on, even the British Nationalists(Such as you) can't argue that the Euro, not now, before the Greeks and Irish, was a powerful currency.

Although the British Pound I admit is the strongest currency in the world, the UK isn't important enough to make the Pound the world's currency...

Actually no, it failed it all of its objectives. It was supposed to be able to take on the Dollar and it faltered from day one. It jacked up prices in lots of places where they couldn't really afford it (see places such as the Canary Islands) failed to ever really catch up to the Pound and Dollar and was just one massive fail because Germany forgot that funnily enough, a single interest rate is impossible to maintain when it only really benefits Germany.

If you are going to let poorly managed countries such as the PIIGS into your currency, you need to let them have control over interest rates so that they can make a half assed attempt at controlling their poor decisions.

The Euro is just another addition to the long and embarrassing list of EU failings.

And the pound isn't that strong. it has taken a big knock recently, but I think it is the only thing relatively capable of keeping up with the Dollar.

The Euro is fine.
Although I agree, it did make some areas even pricier, it hasn't failed.
True, it hasn't taken on the Dollar, and probably won't, but it is the world's biggest contender against the dollar, and other than the dollar, it is the most common pegged with currency...
Finally, the EU, although it isn't a perfect organization, has turned the Eastern European nations into first world nations, and changed them from their communist pasts...Although, they aren't exactly the best, it has helped them greatly...There is a reason why more Eastern European nations keep joining, slowly, but they are joining non-the-less.
Again, true, the Pound is a strong currency, and it is a contender against the Dollar, it isn't as important as the Euro globally, because, well the UK alone doesn't have the international clout necessary to do so...Not anymore anyway...

Portugal has JUST applied for a bailout. Not very fine if its members need Germany to bail them out.

The Eastern European nations are joining because they need the free access to the Western Markets to help themselves grow, but we don't need them. They are the only ones who benefit from EU membership, but are paying the price as their democratic freedoms are slowly eroded.

Also, the Euro is able to enjoy claims of global usage because together Western Europe would have the worlds biggest economy. However it is doomed to failure because the Germans are rightly sick and tired of bailing out the PIIGS, because if every time Greece or Spain says "Woops, cant pay our debts" and Germany whips out the cheque book, then there is no need for them to improve because the good ol' German tax payers will pick up the bill.

The pound Sterling is like top 5 in terms of trading currency and 3rd in reserve currency behind the Euro and Dollar which fits in with the UK's economic ranking. As I said the Euro is so highly traded because the 4th, 5th and 7th biggest economies in the world use it and together make a bigger combined GDP than China and Japan.

Losing democratic freedoms ?
That's ridiculous, like saying the UN is forcing its member states to lose their individual freedoms by at least officially banning torture...
The EU isn't the Eastern Bloc. It is made to advance democracy and peace.
There is a reason why the EU requires nations to adopt civil law, and change many things, for the better I might add, before they can even enter the Union.
Also, I agree about the "PIIGS", I don't usually use that term...
They need to start working for themselves, no matter how hard it's going to be.
I can tell you, if I was a German, and I am a right-centrist person(Moving slowly to a Left-Centrist), even I would be angry with having to pay out the poorer Southern Europeans out of every problem they get themselves through...
I think the EU should force these countries to manage their economies better, especially Greece, Ireland and Portugal.
Finally, true, the Western European market is the driving force behind the Euro, and as I already said, the Sterling Pound is a strong currency, sure, the Euro won't be able to take its place, but it sure solved many countries' problems(Excluding the Southern Europeans).
Take for example the Franc, the Franc was so worthless and valueless compared to other major economies' currencies, you would think it is the currency of some 3rd world country, and not a Major Power's.
Although, the EU has solved that issue, and it sure has helped France a lot...
