An RP Military Armory I have created.

Postby DASHES » Wed Mar 16, 2011 9:47 pm

There are several various types of weapons, all of which are suited to specific types of combat roles, although that does not restrain anybody's selection abilities.

These types are:

Assault Rifles
Submachine Guns
Machine Guns
Shotguns
Sniper Rifles
Anti-vehicle Weapons

Sidearms

AND

Weapon Attachments
Tactical Extensions/Add-ons
Grenades
Special Equipment

AND

Body Armor

AND

Specializations

A quick note: Take notes and make mock-up load-outs as you browse the Armory. As the armory is extensive, you may need those notes for evaluation and deliberation.

Let us begin:

Assault Rifles:
Assault Rifles are the classic rifles of modern warfare. They deliver accurate fire to eliminate soft targets in a few shots. They are the backbone of the infantry arsenals and the most commonly used weapons in the world. And for a good reason, too.
Barrett REC7 [6.8 Remington SPC]
Summary: The Barrett REC-7 (formerly known as the M468 Assault Rifle) is a variant of the M16 platform, complete with a modified Upper receiver. The purpose of changing the receiver? The weapon is fully capable of reliably firing the 6.8 Remington SPC round, a caliber that is the tactical compromise between the speed and tumbling effects of the 5.56x45 caliber and the kinetic power and precision of the 7.62x51 caliber. The REC-7 has a slightly reduced muzzle velocity compared to the M16 but boast 1.5 the Joules of kinetic power, making this weapon superior.

LWRC M6A2 [5.56x45mm NATO]
Summary: The M6A2 Assault Rifle is 5.56x45 caliber Assault Rifle carbine complete with many significant changes that make it superior to the M4A1/A2 carbine. From its ingenious compromising designs to its selection of composite and alternate materials to its advanced engineering, this self-defining rifle is among the most advanced in the world, complete with heat shields and top-bottom-and Side-mounted Pincanny Rails. Former M4 users have no reason to go back after utilizing this fine weapon. Very effective and versatile at short and medium range.

Tavor TAR-21 [5.56x45mm NATO]
Summary: The TAR-21 is a modern bullpup assault rifle made up of lightweight composite materials and made to be ambidexterous. Boasting high muzzle velocity, a good holographic sight, and a high rate of fire, this weapon is powerful in its own right. However, kickback is significant due to high rate of fire, and its reliability has not been proven yet, although it is known to be more reliable than the M16/M4 Platform. Carry this firearm into battle and you will be wielding a next-generation of compact Assault Rifle that has been proven superior to others in its class. It is available in the standard configuration, the lesser ranged but more compact CTAR configuration and the STAR Designated Marksman configuration.

FN-FAL [7.62x51mm NATO]
Summary: A precise, very powerful Battle/Assault Rifle that also happens to succeed in reliability, among other things. It also uses a somewhat common Caliber, the 7.62x51mm Round. Its fully or Semi-Automatic. Quite ideal for Medium to Long Range combat, although it does not accept modification or attachments(Besides a A small Scope, or a Bayonet). Note that at 9.8 Pounds, these weapons are somewhat heavy for assault rifles. Note that the FN-FAL's we own are actually semi-automatic military surplus L1A1's from the UK.

HK SA80 Enfield A2 [5.56x45mm NATO]
Summary: A Bullpup Assault Rifle thats standard issue in the Royal Armed Forces. This weapon is very accurate, and a good choice for many kinds of encounters. This weapon is [questionably] reliable and is competent almost everywhere, and excels almost nowhere.

FN-F2000 Tactical [5.56x45mm NATO]
Summary: This weapon is a bastard hybrid between an SMG and an Bullpup Assault Rifle, but its closer to the latter. To be frank this weapon has recoil. A raw amount too. However, that makes it a beautiful weapon for close range combat. The edge this gun has over say, an MP5? With Pincanny Rails, the F2000 turns into a F2000 Tactical. The Tactical Configuration allows for a wide manner of extra sights, grips, scopes, shotgun attachments, bayonets, etc., etc, to turn this weapon from a Short Range Assault Rifle to a Swiss Army Knife of Assault rifles, capable of handling all but the most extreme tactical situations or needs.
Still, watch the recoil.

FN-SCAR H SBR [7.62x39mm]
Summary: The FN-SCAR SBR is a unique Battle Rifle, completely original in its design. It uses 2 common Calibers (7.62x51 AND 7.62x39mm) so you wouldn't have serious Ammo concerns as you could easily gather ammunition from comrades using the NATO Caliber or from enemies using the AK-47 or derivatives. Also, the weapon is quite powerful, although it is not very accuracate. Excellent for Urban combat. Other environments?
Eh, not so much.

Submachine Guns:
Submachine guns deliver fast, small caliber fire to small targets. In a quick spray of high velocity rounds, an SMG can tear up a hostile soldiers body armor and kill the soldier himself, faster than you can say 'death'. The only downside to this is that SMG's must be used at close range for maximum effect. The effective range of an SMG is something between the effective range of a shotgun and Assault Rifle. But once an SMG is in that range, it kills quickly.

MP5A3 [9x19mm]
Summary: A common Submachine Gun in the Military, the MP5A3 is an authoritative weapon of NATO Armed forces, and is very portable with moderate stopping power. It has very low cover penetration abilities, but that tends not to be a problem with this weapon.

UMP .45 [.45 ACP]
Summary: The UMP .45 SMG happens to be a successor to the MP5. It is also made by the same German weapons developer/manufacturer (Heckler and Koch). Anyway, this weapon has a larger caliber than the MP5, making for greater penetration power and slightly better Damage, at the cost of half the effective range of the MP5 (The effective range of the UMP .45 is 50 meters.)

P90 [5.7x28mm]
Summary: An extremely compact, and lightweight sub-machine-gun using a small but lethal caliber. The Pin-canny Rail on the top of the gun can host a variety of iron of holographic gun-sights. The primary advantage of this weapon in comparison to the others is the 50 Round Magazines and the fact that they can be dual wielded [at the cost of accuracy, however].

KRISS Vector [.45 ACP]
Summary: The KRISS Vector handheld Submachine Gun is a rapid-fire self-loading SMG chambered for the powerful .45 ACP round. Its main benefit is its revolutionary KRISS Super V recoil-control system that works with the operator the very effective dominate recoil, lowering kickback by 60%. This not only ensures highly accurate fire, as well as far increased cover and armor penetration abilities. This, coupled with its ability to mount any optic or scope, makes this one of the most accurate SMG's you will ever lays eyes upon, and if you manage to get within 150 meters of them you will cut enemies down in a fear-striking manner.

Steyr AUG A3 XS 9mm submachine gun
Summary: A very tactical, albeit somewhat heavy, 9mm Sub-machine Gun with high accuracy and very suitable range, being close to that of your typical assault rifle. The Pincanny Rail is good for any manner of sights or scopes, as well as as bayonets or a small Grenade Launcher. The only downside is the 9mm Caliber, which is small on penetration.

Machine Guns:
Machine Guns. We've used them since the WW1 and they are still serving widely in the militaries of the world. Using them defensively, one can cut down entire squads of enemy troops quickly, so long as he/she remains stationary and uses a bipod. Offensively, a Machine Gun can be mounted to the ground or a piece of cover to deliver relentless gunfire the forces an enemy into cover while friendlies move up for better shooting positions. While this is the primary purpose of Machine Guns, some are deadly and versatile enough to be used effectively outside of this, giving the squad great dexterity.

M249 [5.56x45 NATO]
Summary: Once again, another well known, iconic even, US Army weapon, the M249 is a true Light Machine Gun. It weighs 15 Pounds empty which is appropriate for an LMG. It has a Pincanny Rail, a bi-pod, and a 200-Round default Magazine. With its low recoil, high RPM, and Bi-pod, this weapon is dedicated to forcing enemy squads to take cover while allies move closer to get the drop on the enemy. Unfortunately, it is because this weapon is dedicated to suppression that it is also weak, and not intended for taking down lots of enemies. It is a true teamwork weapon, and used properly with teamwork, swiftness and coordination, it can increase a squads effectiveness 110%. the M249's "big brother" the Mk. 48 MOD 0 is the M249 that has been chambered for the 7.62 x51 round instead of the 5.56x45 round. The MK.48 MOD 0 is heavier but more powerful than the standard M249, eneabling the user to not only pin-down enemy troops but the inflict much more damage on enemies in the open. However, due to the larger and more powerful caliber, recoil is greater in the MK. 48 than the M249, and as a result is less accuracy. Its the typical accuracy over power debate. Should you choose the MK. 48 MOD 0 over the typical M249, you must say so.

M60 Mk.43 MOD 0/1 "Assault" [7.62x51mm NATO]
Summary: The most reliable version of the M60, the support weapon of the Vietnam War, the M60 Mk.43 is a Very powerful Support weapon. In its past the original M60 has had reputation problems due to its poor reliability, however in the Mk.43 version, most of this has beeen changed. In addition to better reliability, the M60 has a reduced weight [its now down to 23 Pounds when empty], a shorter 'Assault' Barrel to give it more of a tactical edge, and better barrel change accommodations. Although intended for suppresson, the M60 was also designed with killing power in mind, and as a result, it can often put down foes at a long range in realatively few shots. However, this weapon was not built with accuracy in mind, so it takes a skilled and experienced shooter to acomplish this. Latching the pipod to the ground or a low piece of cover, the M60 can be an excellent assault/suppresion weapon, and due to its large caliber, it can sometimes penetrate enemy cover. If you don't mind the still-questionable reliability, or the bulky weight, the M60 is a great weapon to take of your missions. Just keep it clean.

M240B [7.62x51mm NATO]
Summary: The M240B is a highly reliable and powerful alternative to the M60 weapon system, although it is heavier than the M60. While it is more reliable than its predecessor, it is iffy to hold, and heavy to carry, making it very uncomfortable to use. However, this gun is good for all the reasons the M60 is good, and it goes on without the main reason the M60 is bad (reliability issues), making it an excellent firearm for pushing the enemy into cover, as well as culling the enemies that don't make it to cover in time.

Degtyarov RPD [7.62x39]
Summary: The RPD was an exceptional Light Machine Gun that served extensively in the Cold War until it was replaced by the RPK Light Machine Gun (and act of injustice, according to gun nuts). With high range and adjustable sights, its powerful and very common caliber, and 100-Round Drum Magazine with non-disintegrating belt (Which is ideal for replenishing ammo off of dead enemies), the Degtyarov RPD is more tactical a weapon than one would expect, and is very useful against the enemy. It also has top and bottom mounted pin-canny rails (courtesy of us) for mounting any and all kinds of accessories. Recoil is moderate, but with grip or bipod attachment it becomes more manageable.

HK MG4 [5.56x45mm NATO]
Summary: Another weapon from Heckler & Koch the MG4 is dubbed by its users to be "The ACR of LMG's" (Some of you may know that the ACR is another weapon known for its high accuracy). The MG4 is a compact Light Machine Gun of a common caliber, high accuracy, and moderate portability, being roughly 18.5 Pounds, slightly heavier than its direct competitor, the M249. While not terribly high on power, this is one of the more well rounded Machine Guns here.

Steyr AUG HBAR [5.56x45mm NATO]
Summary: The Steyr AUG HBAR is Light Machine Gun variant of the famous Steyr AUG bullpup assault rifle. There is little but significant in distinction between this weapon and the original AUG. The main and only distinction that matters is the longer and heavier barrel. However, this makes for a longer effective range than the standard AUG. The optics, statistics, and characteristics of the standard AUG remain the same for the most part. To be honest this weapon is somewhat closer to a marksman rifle than a light machine gun, and it has little in suppression/covering fire abilities. Rather, this weapon is capable of delivering accurate fully automatic long-range fire to an enemy squad with its 42 round magazine. This weapon is easily the most accurate choice for a light machine gun at the cost of fire rate and magazine size (42 Rounds).

HK21E [7.62x51mm NATO]
Summary: Yet another weapon by the esteemed Heckler & Koch, the HK21 Export is hybrid between a Battle rifle and a Light Machine Gun, being based on the G3 Battle Rifle. This Weapon has nearly the Accuracy of a Battle Rifle, and the Weight, Magazine Capacity, and Fire Rate of an Assault Rifle. However, the weapons power and caliber size induce some recoil, so mount this baby to a low piece of cover or the ground if you plane of preforming suppressing fire. Best at medium range, although it is good at long range as well.

Shotguns
You all know shotguns; short range killing tools. They've been around a very long time, and they are generally effective at fast kills in indoor or confined spaces, where short range combat is nearly guaranteed, although any close encounters of any kind are made instantly lethal if one guy is using a shotgun and another guy isn't. Make sure you are the guy with the shotgun.

Mossberg 590 [.12 Gauge]
Summary: A very reliable, ranged shotgun (Effective at 40 meters, 50 Meters absolute maximum), that has seen action even in Iraq. Has a capacity of 8 rounds. The Mossberg is a Pump Action Shotgun that is lethal, and it wont let you down with failure to shoot, either. Its not a shredder, its a killer. Unfortunately, there is no customizability for this weapon.

M1014, Joint Service Combat Shotgun [.12 Gauge]
Summary: The Joint Service Combat Shotgun is a tactical, semi-automatic shotgun with an effective range of 40 meters, which is certainly usable. While not as reliable as the Mossberg 590, this weapon is less oriented around 1-shot culling power, and more focused on tactical edge. It has a collapsible stock for improved handling in confined spaces if needed. It also has a pin-canny rail for mounting night optics, various sights, or any other optic as needed for a given mission.

Franchi SPAS-12 [.12 Gauge]
Summary: The SPAS-12 is a very balanced weapon, as it can mount several different stocks and optics, is selective fire, and has a range of 90 Meters, the greatest of the pump-action shotguns here. These shotguns are also very reliable, and boasts the ability to mount a grenade launcher. Favored by several special ops and law enforcement organizations world-wide, this is a wise compromise between the M1014 and the Mossberg 590.

HK CAWS [.12 Gauge]
Summary: Yes, Heckler and Koch makes it over to the Shotguns we have as well. The HK CAWS is a semi-tactical, semi-assault weapon, as it can switch between fully automatic or semi-automatic fire. It has a high range of 150 Meters, and it has a bullpup design. The Magazine size is 20.

AA-12 Automatic Shotgun [.12 Gauge]
This is your Assault Shotgun. This is the one that will shred people. A near recoilless, fully automatic, combat shotgun that can mount optics of any kind and hit our enemies at nearly 175 Meters away. The only downside to all of this is that the weapon is fully automatic, but the magazine size is 8, so you will find yourself reloading constantly. Also, you can't carry a great deal of magazines either, as .12 Gauge Ammunition can be heavy.

Long Range Rifles

Marksman Rifles
The Designated Marksman Rifle (DMR) is a hybrid between the Assault Rifle and the Sniper Rifle. It is meant to be in the action right down with the sqaud, in the firefights, while at the same time retaining somewhat more power than an assault rifle, much better accuracy and range than an assault rifle, and a semi-automatic but more controllable fire rate. A designated Marksman equipped with a DMR can quickly and easily fight his way to an elevated position while working with the team. When the DM reaches an elevated position, only the dreaded Sniper can be more deadly than him in his position.

Mk.14 EBR [7.62x51mm NATO]
Summary: The Mk. 14 EBR is a tactical enhancement of the M14, which was an upgrade from the M1 Garand. The Mk.14 is a semi-automatic rifle ripe for modification, and it can be changed from a Designated Marksman Weapon, to a battle rifle, to a sniper rifle, or something in between. An effective weapon that has been serving us since the Vietnam War. However, a more dexterous (albiet shorter ranged) verion, is the SOCOM 16 Tactical.

M110 Sniper Rifle [7.62x51mm NATO]
Summary: The M110 Sniper Rifle is a semi-automatic tactical weapon with Pincanny rails both on the top and bottom of the weapon, allowing for any tactical attachment to be mounted. The weapon has some cover-penetration abilities, but not much, and you should generally be aiming for the head or kill-zone with this weapon, as with all weapons. This weapon is 16 pounds empty, which is reasonably lightweight.

MK. 12 SPR Designated Marksman Rifle [5.56x45mm NATO]

Summary: The MK. 12 SPR is the Designated Marksman Rifle currently serving the US Navy Seals and the 75th US Army Rangers special ops force. Although it has a greater range than the MK. 14 EBR and the M110 SR as well as great optics, this weapon is based off of the M16 design, and thus it can be unreliable. The US Navy Seals Teams this weapon has accompanied report it as 'dissapointing', and a replacement DMR is in the works. However, this weapon is completely modular, and can be outfitted with alternate scopes, grips, buttstocks, or anything else for mission flexibility. Simply put, this weapon is comparable to the M4 Carbine; highly customizable and deadly when it works, but sometimes it doesn't.

Precision Sniper Rifles
Designated Marksmen Rifles are hybrid weapons. These Precision Rifles below are dedicated weapons, and they are dedicated to one thing: One shot, One kill, from a very long range. Yes snipers, this is your section.

M82 Barret .50 Cal Sniper Rifle [.50 BMG]
Summary: An anti-material sniper rifle capable of great penetration, being known to shot through brick and concrete, and light vehicles, at great ranges. This sniper weapon has the kind of great anti-vehicle/personnel power its large caliber can afford it, but its weight is pretty high (28.5 Pounds) and its ammunition is expensive and heavy as well, meaning we can't deploy you with much of it. Soldiers who deploy with this weapon usually drop with a light secondary weapon, such as a machine pistol (See below) or Submachine Gun (See above), as they can't carry much else. If you want great long-range firepower and you are comfortable with not having much in the way of a secondary weapon, please deploy with this weapon.

TAC-50 McMillan Sniper Rifle [.50 BMG]
Summary: This is the rifle that has made the world's longest-range recorded sniper kill. This is a weapon of legendary and unprecedented accuracy, and with its very large caliber it has very high power as well. The only serious drawback is its bolt-action status. This significantly reduces rate of fire, keeping you from making follow up shots if you miss the target (Which you won't if you know how to use a scope). However, with training and practice, you can still manage a good rate of fire with this weapon. You will have much trouble finding a more accurate weapon.

AS50 BMG Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle [.50 BMG]
Summary: The British-made semi-automatic precision sniper rifle, the AS50 is an anti-armor rifle chambered for the .50 Caliber BMG round. This weapon is capable of excellent accuracy and very high power. It appears that this rifle is designed around anti-armor usage, as it has a reputation for taking out enemy APC's and the like at over 1000 meters. However, due to its weight (28 Pounds), and size, it is unwieldy for taking out smaller, faster moving targets such as ground infantry, although to the trained operative it is certainly possible. When you consider this rifle, think of the anti-tank-rifle soldiers of World War 1.

Walther WA2000 [.300 Winchester]
Summary: Considered by some to be the best sniper rifle system ever created, the Walther WA220 is a semi-automatic specialized .300 Winchester bullpup sniper rifle. Of all the rifles here, this is the most capable choice for assaults (due to its compactness, relatively low weight, and semi-automatic capability, as well as recoil-dispersion technology) while the previous choices were all suited for support and priority targeting. If you plan on deploying with your fire-team on the ground level as opposed to around or behind them, yet you still plan of sniping, this is your rifle. Think of this weapon as a beefed up more powerful version of the Designated Marksman Rifles listed earlier, just heavier and with more recoil and a superior scope. However, if you are taking a more laid back and long distance approach, consider the others.

Anti-Vehicle weapons
Whether its the AT-4 for taking out an enemy IFV, or the notorious Stinger for removing that inconvenient russian chopper from your day, if all the weapons listed before are for 'soft' targets, the weapons below are intended for 'hard' targets.

M136 Anti-Tank 4
Summary: This is the modern and Lightweight Anti-Tank Arnament of the US Army , as it weights 14.7 pounds. In fact it replaced the US LAW. Ideal for taking out vehicles and Tanks, although you will need multible hits to take out the latter. However, it is necessary to advise operatives to refrain from using this weapon indoors. The large backblast will injure you and your teamates in confined areas.

FGM-148 Javelin
Summary: The FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank missle launcher is a man-portable anti-tank weapon that can effectively engage tanks from a very long distance thanks to the guided missles that it fires. This weapon is very effective in anti tank application as its targeting system is designed to fire missles towards the weakest-armored places of the average tank, and thus, can likely take out a light to medium armored tank in 1 hit. However, at 49.5 pounds these are easily the heaviest weapons in the entire armory. Also, you can't carry anymore than 5 Missles, considering that you will have to carry other equipment as well. Forteunately, this weapon has negligible backblast, unlike the AT-4, so don't worry about using it indoors.

FIM-92 Stinger
Summary: The FIM-92 Stinger Launcher is a 33.52 pound anti-aircraft missle launcher. This weapon can reliably take out nearly any attack chopper or even a fighter plane such as the Harrier. However, this requires the target be within 8 km of the Stinger operator. This anti aircraft weapon is heavy and bulky, as is its ammunition, so a soldier is only expected to carry 1-2 Missles of ammuntion, 3 at maximum. If you a nd you team are going on an op, and you are expecting enemy air support, bring this weapon.

M224 60mm Light Mortar
Summary: This 60mm Light Mortar is highly capable of anti-infantry, anti-entrenchment, and to a limited extent, anti-tank operations. It weighs 18 pounds, but is best operated in a team of 3 or more [A team leader to direct the fire, an ammo bearer to carry shells and help load them, and a gunner to set up and fire the mortar]. Also, it is important to keep the mortar in the back while other soldiers advance and give enemy coordinates to the squad leader via radio. If you need a compromise between anti-defense and anti-infantry long range explosive power, you should consider this weapon.

Milkor MGL 1L [40x46mm]
Summary: Wall blockng your way, and you don't have C4 to spare? Tear it down with this weapon. Found yourself in the middle of a ghost down filled with snipers? Blow away their hiding spots with this weapon. Machine gun nest pissing you off? Blast it away with this weapon. This semi automatic 40mm revolver-type grenade launcher can fire off all of its six shots in around 3 seconds, and can fire its High Explosive genades a total of 400 meters. It is highly capable of anti-structure, anti-jeep, and anti-infantry applications. However, don't go firing this assault weapon at heavy vehicles, especially vehicles resembling tanks. That'll just piss off the crew inside, and it will be a waste of ammo.

Sidearms
Your beloved primary is your baby, and its saved you life on numerous occasions. But you know what has saved you more? Your sidearm. Your Sidearm will be on your hip when even your primary weapon fails you. Time to pick one.

HK USP's
Chose a pistol you find on the site. There are a few variants, each with its various advantages and disadvantages. Overall you can expect great tactical dexterity, realative lightweight, and low recoil.

HK P2000 [9x19mm]
Summary: This weapon is very similar to the HK USP .45 above. However, it is even more compact, and generally more comfortable to wield than the USP. It also uses the powerful and more common 9mm caliber, making it more useful in the battlefield as it is easier to find additional ammunition. This weapon, like all Heckler and Koch weaponry, is well made, accurate, and modular, which is to say that it can reliably hit targets at 164 feet with high precision and it can also mount optics on its top Pin-canny rail, making it more capable at long range. However, due to its low range, this weapon should not be used offensively, rather defensively. However, this is the lightest pistol in the selection and it also boasts the largest magazine size for a semi-auto pistol in this armory, which is 14 Rounds per magazine.

Berreta Px4 Storm [9x19mm]
Summary: Like the pistol above, this weapon is chambered for the common and effective 9mm caliber. However, this pistol succeds at firing these rounds faster and at a slightly longer range than the P2000. However it is heavier and has a lower magazine capacity (10 rounds). However, there is also a major bonus to this pistol not obsevable in the other weapons here: Illuminated iron sights. The iron sights on this weapon come with special lights that can project green, white, or red and can give you a better sense of where your shots will hit. However, the real beuty of illuminated iron sights is Night missions, where typical iron sights are almost invisible and therefore useless. Lighted sights are incredibly easier to see and can actually give you a better edge in terms of trajectory judgment, giving you a better edge no mater what the time of day. However, it has typical range, at 50 meters.

Taurus .44 Magnums
You have your pick of long barrel or shortbarrel .44 Magnums. The Long barrel Magnums are obviously more powerful and have greater range. However, the short barrel ones are lighter and are easier to pull out of the holser. Its your 'tactical' decision. However, this is the .44 magunum; you know what you are getting into.

Colt Delta Elite 10mm Pistol
The Colt Delta Elite 10mm is a Colt 1911 that has been modified to effectively and reliably fire the 10mm Auto Pistol cartridge, considered by some to be among the best in Pistol Cartridges. Due to modifications made as well as the new Caliber, this weapon is much more effective than its older cousin, the original Colt 1911, which was a fine weapon anyway.

Machine Pistols
As the name implies, these weapons are the tactical hybrid between submachine guns and pistols, and they come as secondaries. Expect compact fully automatic pistols with low range but high rate of fire and moderate recoil. You wanted an SMG without the bulk AND as a sidearm? Then get one of these.

HK MP7A1
Summary: The HK MP7A1 is actually a personal defense and law enforcement weapon, although is man-stopping effectiveness has earned it a place in military hands. In a nut shell, the MP7A1 can be considered a weapon that has the compactness of a pistol, the range of an assault rifle and the firepower of a submachine gun. This is a weapon that will take you through [bloody] places, and HK's engineering will not fault you, giving you an automatic pistol that can do the job of a weapon twice its size and defeat most body armor.

KBP Instrument Design Bureau PP-2000 [9x19mm FMJ]
Summary: The PP-2000 is a close range Special Forces weapon chambered for the 9x19 FMJ Round, which is superior to the ammunition of the HK MP7A1 rounds and suited to close range combat applications. The FMJ aspect of its rounds also add to its penetration capabilities, giving you a greater abilities to fire through the enemies cover. Also, the weapon has manageable recoil, and decent accuracy. It also has Pin-canny Rails mounted on its top, rendering it ripe for mounting holographic and red-dot sights. to increase accuracy. The main way this weapon exceeds the HK7A1 is range related. At close range, this weapon slaughters. at any range longer than that, the HK triumphs.

Steyr TMP [9x19mm]
Summary: The Steyr TMP is an Austrian hand-held machine gun chambered for the 9x19 caliber round. However, these rounds are not equipped with FMJ, like the PP-2000, so the cover/wall penetration is not nearly as high. However, to compensate for this, a fire rate of 900 rounds per minute is available. Also, with its default forward grip, and selective fire rate, this weapon is an excellent choice for ops, although its awkward shape and protruding magazine make it slightly unwieldy. Also, the Weapon has no Pin-canny Rails, making it impossible to mount any attachments. These may be problems for the tactical operator.

Glock 18 [9x19mm]
Summary: The Glock 18 (Also known as the G18 to some spec-ops) is a fully automatic 9mm machine pistol widely used in law enforcement. This weapon has an effective range of 50 meters, and boasts an incredible near 1300 RPM, as well as some incredible recoil to go along with it. Also, this weapon comes in 33-round magazines so you will be reloading very often. Fortunately this weapon is light enough to be dual wielded effectively, albiet nor accurately.
Weapon Attachments
Sometimes the weapons themselves are not enough, and you need a supplement to increase the combat effectiveness of your weapon, and in turn, you. The maximum is 2 attachments for your primary, 1 attachment for your secondary.

Grippod forward grip system
Summary: This hybrid of a foregrip and a bipod greatly increases the performance of any weapon it is attached to, as the operator can very quickly and very easily go from a stationary to mobile firing position while maintaining a high accuracy the entire time. Can mount to any weapon with a Pincanny Rail.

M203 Underbarrel Grenade Launcher
Summary: This well-known grenade launcher is capable of launching anti-personnel 40mm Grenades a total of 400 Yards in an accurate manner. It is great for eliminating Machine-Gun nests, pieces of cover, and even light anti-vehicle applications. Unlike the Milkor GL above, however, you only have 1-shot per reload.

M26 Combat Assessory Underbarrel Shotgun
Summary: Hey, remember that time you had to look death in the eye that time that militia soldier with the Double-Barreled shotgun almost killed you because you were reloading your primary and you didn't have time to switch to your shotgun? Well fortunately, th M26 is an under-barrel-attaching mini-shotgun designed to lighten the load of the CQC or Assault operator by providing a lighter, shorter, and more convenient, yet weaker and half-ranged version of the Mossberg 590 Combat Shotgun. It is designed to attach to the bottom of the hand-guard of the M4, or any weapon bearing bottom-mounted Pin-canny Rails, so that a soldier has access to his primary and his shotgun without having to switch weapons. You have 6 rounds per magazine for this weapon.

Laser Sight
Summary: There are countless laser sights available for all manner of Automatic Weapons, Shotguns, Rifles, and pistols. The point of Laser sights is to decrease an operative's reaction time when tangos are spotted by eliminating he guesswork of estimating where his/her shots will land when aiming and firing. Works great with hip-firing, although it compliments careful aiming well. Available in Red, Blue, and Green.

Stream Light Sidewinder Military Flashlight
Summary: The Stream-light Sidewinder Military Flashlight is a tactical flashlight capable of 4 brightness settings, 4 different colors (all suited for a different purpose), and 12 to 100 hours of LED illumination depending on the Brightness setting you choose. These tactical flashlights are an incredibly ideal attachment to your Primary or Secondary for Night Operations, or for prolonged missions that you are sure will run more than 12 Hours and will require light.
BSA Multi-Reticule Holographic Sight
Summary: Holographic Sights (also known as Holosights) are advanced weapon sights designed to provide the user with an illuminated reticule that works well in all weather conditions, as opposed to iron sights. This Holosight can be configured for a variety of calibers and can be arranged to operate from 4 a choice of 4 different reticule options and 7 brightness conditions. An excellent alternative to iron sights (also, it is especially superior to iron sights on night ops, where the iron sights are hardly visible).

ACOG Scope
Summary: The ACOG Scope is an adjustable gun scope that are designed to increase an operator's combat accuracy by providing a magnified view of the battlefield by looking through scope, allowing a soldier to zero in on targets better than he/she would using iron or Holographic Sights. The ACOG Scope you choose depends on the caliber of your weapon, and they may only used on you primary. Note that they cannot be equipped to the Designated Marksman or Sniper Rifles as they by default use much more powerful scopes.

ATN L-3 Thermal-Eye Renegade 320 Scope
Summary: This Thermal Scope is designed to give an advanced and magnified vision of an enemy in dim or dark lighting settings. This Scope displays the environment in grey or black hues while illuminating sources of heat (i.e. Humans) as white, cutting out you work for you as you simply have to fire upon the white moving shapes. However, they require Pin-Canny Rails to mount, and they may be only used effectively at nighttime, or in dark places.

AWC Suppressor
Summary: The combat suppresor is designed to reduce the high sound of firearms discharge in combat. This is extremely helpful for things like Night Ops, Hostage Rescue, or other situations where stealth is a helpful or needed aspect of the mission for successful completion. AWC has silencers designed for 5.56x45 Weapons, silencers designed for the 7.62x51 Weapons, silencers designed for .50 Caliber Weapons, and lastly, silencers designed for .45 ACP Pistols. However, suppressors have a disadvantage; in order to produce their noise-reducing effect, they slow down the bullet fired before it can exit the barrel. This reduces the muzzle velocity of a weapon equipped with a suppressor, and as a result it reduces the range and power of a weapon. unless you have to, don't use suppressors on your weapons. Needless to say, they cannot be used with Anti-vehicle weapons.

Full Metal Jacket Rounds
Summary: Full Metal Jacket rounds (FMJ) are basically rounds that have been coated (or jacketed) with a metal coating that make the round harder, giving it greater cover penetration abilities due to the fact that the bullet will retain its integrity as it tunnels through walls and even cars due to the metal holding the bullet together. Any weapon can be equipped with FMJ rounds, as all it would take is some time to modify each round you have for your weapon.

M9 (EOD) Multi-Purpose 12 in. Bayonet
Summary: While the US Army is working on phasing out bayonets and bayonet drill training, there are still soldiers out there that needed to get stabbed, and while the M9 is still in service, it is our duty to ensure that they will be. In addition to serving as a realatively-long-range melee implement, this bayonet also serves as a utility knife, wire-cutter, saw, and even an EOD tool. This weapon can easily be mounted onto the M16/M4 Platform, as well as the Mossberg 590 Shotgun. However, it cannot be used for other weapons, unless you just keep in your sheath when going on missions.

Beta C-Mag (Drum Magzine
Summary: Drum Magazines are specialized circular magazines that are designed to hold rounds in a spiral, instead of flat like they are in a typical magazine. This design allows for a greater amount of ammunition to be stored per reload, increasing an operators effectiveness and survivability by allowing him to fire for a longer period of time, as well as ensuring he/she has ammo left in his/her gun for the time an enemy soldier try to bum rush him around the corner. The Beta C-Mag is a United States made Drum Magazine designed to accommodate weapons firing the 9x19mm Rounds, the 5.56x45 mm Round, and the 7.62x51 mm Round. Any weapon equipped with Drum Magzines has 100 Rounds per reload.

Tactical Extensions
These Tactical Extensions are packs and pouches designed to increase a soldier's tactical dexterity in a mission. The variety of extensions include Medical Kits, Additional Ammunition Pouches, and Survival Equipment. All of this equipment is for extreme situations when you are shot, out of rations, and the calvary ain't comin'. Each soldier has his pick of one of these. Squads are advised to ensure each soldier has a different extention to ensure a squad is being tactically diverse and near-universally prepared.

Improved First Aid Kit
Summary: This isn't the first aid kit you remember from you childhood. This kit includes everything needed to treat major causes of combat deaths, from massive bleeding caused by a gunshot wound to a lack of air due to a soldier getting hit in the lungs, for example. Added to this is the kit's conviniece as it weights one pound, is only a few inches wide and long, making it easy to clip to a utility belt, ammunition belt, or pack. As this 1 pound pouch is quite elastic, the contents of this kit can be changed or added to according to a soldier's understanding of the METT-TC (Mission, Enemy, Terrain and weather, Troops and support available, Time available, Civil considerations).

Active Shooter Rifle Ammunition shoulder-slung bag
Summary: Comparable to a laptop bag stuffed with ammunition, this shoulder-slug bag is perfect for storing an additional 8 M16 STANAG Magazines or 4 7.62 Magazines. It will also accomodate 2 extra knives OR 2 extra pistol magazines. For these reasons it very well compliments an M16/M4 or SCAR-H loadout of sorts. This extension also makes you capable of supporting/resupplying your teamates should they run low on munitions. However, since you are already carrying ammunition in you ammo pouches which is already heavy, adding this to your assortment will slow you down. However, it has great value to you and your team should you ever need to hold a position or make a prolonged/difficult assault.

Machine Gun Belt Ammunition Bag Mount
Summary: If the previous extension was for carrying extra Pistol and Assault Rifle ammuntion, this extension is for carrying extra Machine Gun ammuntion. However, this extension does even more than that. It is designed to carry 400 rounds of belt linked ammunition, and as such, this same belt can be loaded into the chamber of a belt-fed Machine Gun. If this is done, and the MG in question will have access to the rest of the 400 Rounds, whih allows for continuous fire until the 400 rounds are expended. Basically what I am saying is that this pouch will carry extra ammuntion for a Machine Gun as well as make for a quadruple size Machine Gun firing capacity. However, this can only be done once per mission, for obvious reasons.

Wilderness Guardian Survival Kit
Summary: This kit, packed with many NATO-approved items, includes everything a soldier or squad needs to A.) get a bearing after ending up in a lost-in-the-winderness situation B.) Find Food, establish shelter, and make a plan to get back to base/the mission C.)Pack up any aquired food and safely navagate the enviornment to find the EZ, and then signal 'the chopper' so that you can get out of there. See link for itemized list of Kit contents.
It is recommended that at least 2 members in a squad equip this Kit so that the most of the squad squad is covered (Each Kit accoodates 2 People).

Grenades
A bullet may have your name on it, but a grenade is addressed 'To whom it may concern'
-Random Motivational Poster

M67 Fragmentation Grenade
Summary: With a low weight, moderate damage/kill radius, and 3-5 second fuse time, these are your tactical Frag Grenades. Reliable, cheap, and lightweight. Excellent for flushing enemies out of cover and even killing enemies. These are easily the most deadly grenade here.

AN-M8-HC Smoke Grenade
Summary: These tactical smoke grenades can not only be thrown an average of 30 meters and blanket a wide area with [insert color here] smoke for nearly 150 seconds, but they can also irritate an enemy not wearing a gas mask, which limits their combat effectiveness (Should that enemy be in or near the smoke). This is good for you. These grenades are great for blocking the visibility of the enemy for whatever reason or purpose, in addition to alerting freindly forces of your location, if nessesary. You will have to chose from standard Grey Smoke, Green Smoke, or Red Smoke.

ABC-M7A3 CS Tear Gas Grenade
Summary: Tear Gas grenades are well-known for dispersing crowds of rioters, but what of the real enemy? Well, the ABC has you covered. The AN-M8-HC Smoke Grenade has a slight ability to irritate those caught in the smoke radius, but for the ABC M7A2, bothersome irritation is the primary purpose. Detonating after 2 seconds, the ABC blankets an area with a gas that causes the immidiate burning of the eyes (which causes crying), strange and strong sensations and sometimes causes suffocation. If the enemy is moist somehow, sometimes these grenades can cause burning feelings in the skin. All of these create extreme discomfort to those affected, and can be seen to do anything to lowering enemy accuracy to even making the enemy to fall back to recover from the gas (which they won't for around 30-60 minutes). The affects of these grenades can cause significant benefit to your team as they will weaken the integrity of your enemies' defense, making it easier for you to push through.

AN-M14 TH3 Incendiary Grenade
Summary: The AN-M14 TH3 Incendiary Grenade can be thrown about 25 meters by the typical soldier, and can blanket a small area with approximately 4,000 Degrees Fareinheight, which is capable of burning through a half inch of steel as well as bond with metal and set fire to flammable materials it detonates with. This grenades primary purpose is to destroy enemy equipment, vehicles, and/or supplies quickly to deny the enemy of usage of such stockpiles. Do not use these against humans however, as that is not the intended purpose and will be uneffective.

XM84 Stun Grenade
Summary: The stun grenade is a nonlethal weapon designed for temporarily disorienting, blinding, defeaning, and possibly confusing enemies caught in the grenade's radius. These adverse effects can give you a ew seconds to line up a perfect shot against an afflicted enemy. In some cases you would be better served using frag grenades instead of these. In other, more tactical situations, Stun Grenades are better. Think about it.

Special Equipment
Are the Special Forces. As such, we must have special equipment to accomodate the needs of our more unusualt missions, as according to the mssions needs, you must pick your special equipment below. One per squad-mate.

C-4 Plastic Explosive
Summary: C-4 is an iconic military-grade lightweight plastic explosive that is known to be approximately 1.34 times more destructive than TNT, pound-for-pound. C4 is remote-detonated, so using consist of A.) Running up to the target and sticking on the charge to a hard surface, B.) Running for your life while you squad provides covering fire, and C.) Pushing the big-red-button, possibly leveling your target if you used the correct amount. C-4 can be used offensively, to destroy buildings or bulk supplies, or it can be used defensively, to lay traps for an oncoming assault. C-4 comes in pounds, so if you are taking any specify how many pounds.
On a special note, C-4 can also be used for Door-Breaching Operations as well.

M40A1 Field NBC Gas Mask
Summary: This Gas mask is designed to protect the user from harmful Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical particles in the air that would injure or kill a human not wearing such a mask in an afflicted area. Always good to be well prepared.

Level IIIA Ballistic Shield
Summary: The Botach Tactical Level IIIA Ballistic Shield is a lightweight, bullet and fragmentation proof shield that can serve as a field of protection for yourself and your comrades while allowing you to fire a pistol at the enemy. If you need to get through a well-defended area very quickly in a well-coordinated manner, this is your tool. However, it is not invincible, and sniper rifle rounds and/or sustained fire can and will break this shield eventually, so be quick and don't depend on this shield too much during a tough mission.

Battering Ram
Summary: While C-4 is perfectly capable of breeching doors during breech-and-clear operations, sometimes you need something safer, and much quieter. The Battering Ram has you covered. Battering Rams go back a long way, and were once several stories high and used to break open the doors to castles and cities. However, modern Battering Rams are much smaller and employs a piston which strikes the door upon impact, increasing the force of the strike. When used in a two man team, the battering ram can quickly and easily be used to bust through a locked and reinforced door that can't be breeched by kicking. However, it is somewhat heavy. Useful for stealth and anti-terror operations.

Snake Cam
Summary: An extremely flexible surveillance device capable of bending around corners and under doors to acquire footage.

Taser X26 ECD
Summary: This Military-class Taser Pistol fires probes that can attach and stun a High Value Target at a total of 35 feet. This pistol is an excellent ranged way to neutralize a Target in a non-lethal way so that you can take him/her as a POW or whatever else the mission requires, without the hassle of having to chase the target down while his/her guards happily fire away at your backside.

Body Armor
If you are not strapping yourself into a suit of body armor before going to war, you are living in the WW2 era. Modern body armor has been with us since the days of PAGST, which served us in the Vienam war. Since then, modern body armor has been greatly improved, and now we have our pick of several reliable and durable forms of armor. You have your pick out of the two major options a United States soldier can have.

Improved Out Tactical Vest (IOTV)
Summary: The Improved Outer Tactical Vest is the US Army's answer to the older but less useful Interceptor ballistic vest system. Generally it weighs less than the Modular Tactical vest, is more comfortable, and it can withstand 7.62 Rounds, to an extend. Parts can be added or subtracted (e.g. neck protection, groin protection, etc.) to manage the protection and weight offered by this vest. It is very much worth noting that this vest has its ballistic plates and shock plates focused on the chest area, the back, and the ribs, and as such the other areas of the vest are not as heavily armored in the interest of low weight making you less reliably protected but more agile.

Modular Tactical Vest
Summary: The Modular Tactical Vest is also a response to the flaws of the Intercepter Vest, but at 30 Pounds, it is heavier than the IOTV above. It has a more even distribution of weight and protection than the IOTV, making it even more reliable to protect you from the devestation of a 'luck shot' the enemy gets on you. Like the above vest, this vest can be adjusted by putting on or taking away various parts. Even shoulder pads are optional. The MTV is less comfortable that the IOTV, but somewhat more protective, especially due to the fact that it covers the whole torso with full protection, as opposed to the IOTV which puts full protection for only major areas. If you are afraid of the prospect of getting hit in an area not fully protected by the IOTV, this vest is a good, trustworthy choice. Its just heavy and stuffy, and will slow you down slightly.

Specializations
You are aware of specializations. This is just a list of specializations that you will have to pick for the form below (Its for the Loadout Purpose section). Note that you can either have a 'pure' class with one specialization the soldier excels at, or a hybrid class consisting of two or more specializations for a more dexterous but less specialized soldier.

Rifeman: Footsoldier, specialist at medium range combat and the backbone of assault and defense operations.

CQC: Close Quarters combat soldier that is more effective at combat in confined enviornments than other soldiers.

EOD: Explosive Ordnance Removal operatives know how to handle a great many explosives from mines to custom-made suitcase nukes to garage-made cell phone bombs.

Sniper/Marksman: Long Range Footsoldiers are availible in two kinds; fireteam-level Designated Marksmen, and high-perched Snipers. Both will lack in confined-quaters but at longer ange they will excel at providing accurate shots to enemy teams, even other snipers.

Anti-Vehicle: As the name implies, such soldiers are very skilled and well equipped at destroying or disabling enemy vehicles.

Machine Gunner: The Machine Gunner is quite good at suppressing/pinning down enemy squads and providing covering fire, although he may not get as many kills as the others.

Demolitions Operator: The Demolitions Operator is a capable soldier in short/medium range combat, but they are best at breeching doors, leveling walls and small structures, and ruining or completely destroying supplies. To me a Demolitions operative is quite a specialty.

Medic: Medics are not ussually combat-skilled but can provide quick and needed healing for shot or otherwise wounded soldiers.
