"Perhaps this free trade agreement could be a agreement ULN member nations can voluntarily apply for. That way nations that want to have free trade with other ULN nation can do so. While those that don't want to aren't forced to do so."

"But if these requests are too radical, nobody will join this group. And if not everyone likes the settings, there will not be many members. Still, I like your idea." said Daniel Guy.

"No one was ever trying to force on a free trade agreement. The option to voluntarily create said FTA with another nation of the ULN has always been the right of each sovereign nation within the ULN." Said Donald Phillips, un-aware what the others were getting at.

"You must realize that we are here to create a new agreement here, which wont just affect the Nations of the representatives sat down in this here room. I myself think that fellow U.L.N. members should open their doors to mining companies if they cannot extract it themselves, this would work on a 60% of the collection of the resources to the Nation where it is in and 40% to the company. This would allow two economy's to prosper at the same time." said Daniel Guy,

Daniel Kang who had been silent so far decided to speak up. Ikruchystan has significant oil and natural gas reserves. We would lift our tariffs if Tehraan would sell us copper, gold and rare earths at a lower price. We are currently attempting to move away from a resource dependent nation to a developed nation and the raw materials for computer components are in short supply.

Daniel Guy looked up at the last remark of the representative.

"Globexanter may be able to sell your Nation some raw materials for computer components after a surge in that industry. That is, however, only if the nation of Tehraan cannot sell the minerals themselves." he said.

Sinéad Ó Tuama nodded to the Inkarzikani delegate before speaking for the first time. She spoke with a heavy Irish accent, and in that very language, probably to irritate the other delegates. "We in Maltropia believe we can offer much to other nations of the ULN. We have a top-class Arms industry, and our IT sector is rather impressive too. I'm sure that Mr. Guy is familiar with our grain industry as well."

"Yes I am, very good grain if I say so myself. We've began to grow our own lately. This raises an issue which could affect many nations including our two ones, do we remove tariffs on the Arms Industry?" asked Daniel Guy in Globexian.

Daniel Kang responded "Maltropia we have an extensive arms industry as well. Perhaps we could cover that later on. But for now let's discuss industrial and agricultural tariffs." "Globexanter, can you provide rare earths as well as copper and iron? These components are in demand as our IT sector is expanding quite rapidly. Perhaps if we lifted the tariffs on oil as well as those minerals you could also lift tariffs on IT imports? As for agriculture our nation supports the lifting of tariffs."

"Sadly we shall not take away the tariffs on our Oil, we have discussed this before. We already sell it at a cheap price making a small profit, if we remove the tariff we shall begin to lose jobs in that industry. Yes our Nation does deal with rare earths as those two. Agriculture however would be much easier to lift the tariffs on." said Daniel Guy.

We are not asking for a lift on your oil tariffs as we are also a net oil exporter. Only the minerals for the IT sector.

"Does any nation need rocket parts? The Inkarzi Space Exploration and Exploitation Program was making rockets for a mission, and now the mission was scrapped and we have rockets we dont need." John said, his breath heavy.

The two men walked into the chamber quietly, as to not disturb the current talks.
"I am sorry for being late Ladies and Gentlemen. We had mechanical errors on the vehicle and were delayed. I personally apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused y'all."
And with that the Honorable Mr. Satiry took his reserved chair and began skimming over the current talks.
"Mr. John of Inkarzikan, Tecknoko currently is in need of various rocket parts. We are attempting to establish a second functioning Orbital R&D facility but are lacking several mechanisms. Perhaps we can reach a conclusion on this matter."

"Well, Silicon is already sold at a pretty low price of about 2 U.S.D. a Kilo, you can't really reduce that much more. Not sure about the other three tho..." said Daniel Guy.

Yes so for the moment should we put that matter to rest? The individual nations can work out their deals with each other and we can move on? However I vote we put grain tariffs to a vote. Also I think there needs to be a mid-to-long term plan for reducing tariffs and subsidies across the alliance.

"As we have already discussed and agreed, we will not impose a 'no-tariff' on every import or export. I myself would vote For the removal of the tariff on Grain/Food." said Daniel Guy.

Yes, I suggest that the trade council vote on these issues at the end of the conference. Now, if anyone is interested I suggest we discuss arms trading.

"While the Arms trade may have a certain importance to Trolololistan," Minister Veshkhan said, "I suggest that the conference turn from trading of individual goods to agreements on policies."

Taking a sip of water from a glass on the table, he continued "Things like not importing goods that may be illegal in other member states. These may seem like givens, but I think it is in all of our best interests if the charter is expanded to contain clauses on trade between member nations."

"New Korongo also has a reasonable arms industry, while we would support lowering tarrifs on less dangerous products we want to raise the tarrifs on dangerous products such as weapons of mass destruction to stop them falling into the hands of terrorists who may not have access to as much money as governments" George Laking told the others.

"I completely agree with you, sir. However we must restrict weapon of mass destruction sale extremely, if not out right. I do not want fringe groups to have weapons of mass destruction. However we must not lower the prices of certain items too low. We should not have the common man be able to walk down the street and ourchase a rocket launcher."

"We agree that any W.M.D. should be heavily regulated, we wish that this also applies for Biological and Chemical weapons as these are nearly as bad as the first one." said Daniel Guy.
