"Easy answer, there is a nice basement complex over here which still contains windows allowing natural daylight to enter the room. The house is built upon a slight hill, allowing these windows to exist." said the Commander, walking towards a set of stairs going down and opening a wooden door at the bottom, letting the two men go past him inside the basement.

The two men looked into the room and saw that the light was flowing in from the outside through the windows. "Can it withstand an impact ?" The diplomat asked.

"Easily, I could show you now, but it would leave a small mark." answered the Commander, tapping his pistol on his right hip.

The two men stepped aside allowing the Commander to demonstrate the effectiveness of the windows.

The Commander pulled out a Sig Sauer P226, making sure he had a cartridge in the weapon before he pulled it up, five meters away from the window and level at the center.
He then fired one bullet, this hit the window, simply bouncing off and leaving a small mark. This was done so quickly, only the sound of the bullet leaving the barrel and it hitting the window was heard.

"Not my favorite gun, better than nothing. A sniper round might get halfway, but it would be hard." he added, putting his weapon away.

The diplomat and the commodore looked on in amazement. "The place is a fortress..." The diplomat uttered.

"Not really, if by some chances they got a tank to storm this place or a direct hit from an artillery cannon..." said the Commander, sighting.

"Then we would have a problem... luckily we still have the shelter."

"Also, forgot to say. In the event of this place being attacked, and if somehow enemy forces got into the Embassy Compound, there would be a massive evacuation plan to use a long tunnel heading towards a little known GNF NS base, I cannot tell you the exact locations, but it would be a long and dangerous trip. But as they say, better to be safe than sorry..."

"We understand. And we will be evacuated by members of the Globexian Armed Forces ?"

"Well, personally I would probably die fighting alongside the men to defend this place to the last man. You would all probably be evacuated by the Globexian National Police Force, those who aren't fighting at least. However, as said, a highly unlikely case." said the Commander, looking about.

"Let's hope it will never be needed." The diplomat said and as he said that he knocked on the wooden doorframe.

"Indeed, but the enemy forces would have to bring a lot of men to even get near the capital. Let alone within our national waters. Do you wish to see the kitchen, the communications rooms?" he asked.

"Yes, please. Please show us the way." The diplomat nodded.

"All right, to the communication room then." said the Commander.

He began to enter a hallway within the basement. He then opened the 2nd door on the left, it was a thick steel door, explained by the presence of a Faraday Cage warning sign.
As they walked in, they would mainly see 'coding machines', which were able to crack or encrypt messages incoming or leaving the Embassy, the settings where to be made by the security staff or the Ambassador, as ten existed.
Apart from that, four computers were present with good quality screens, keyboards, mouses and 'boxes'.

"The Communications Room, able to operate under many circumstances..." said the Commander, turning the lights of the room on.
