"Probably a good five hours or so, it will be getting late over there." said Ryan Gache.

The Marechaussee reappeared at the gate. "I know, I know.." he said to one of the guards "Another message.. and it's urgent."

"Bloody hell, are you lot postmen?" said the guard, taking the letter and going through what was quickly coming a routine.

He then passed it along to the polcie officer on the motorbike, after having opened the letter and put it into a new envelope. The Officer then passed the letter to the secretary, whom walked inside the P.M.'s office with it.

"Another letter..." she said, putting it down on the table before turning around and walking away, closing the door behind her.

"Not as far as my job description is concerned. I must have taken the wrong job." The Marechaussee said. "They must be getting worried back home. Say have you heard the news ? Someone seems to have fired on one of our ships."

The commodore picked it up and let out a whistle of surprise before giving it to the diplomat. "Bad stuff. One of our ships was attacked in international waters. The assailants are still unknown but I know the ship. It's a trawler used for intelligence gathering. Luckily our boys on the Turner Joy returned fire and took one of those PT-boats."

"Just a couple of miles offshore of that damn coast. One man injured. A couple of holes in the ship, but nothing dangerous. It was unarmed vessel but luckily the latest addition to our fleet was just around the place. And it prevented a lot worse."

"Either someone is aiming to create more trouble, or piracy must be high in that location."

(OoC: I've got a problem... My PM was present during the voting of the three new Acts, and obviously knew all about this. Added to the fact we are running this at the same time, it is going to get weird... Unless they took a break?)

(OOC: You're right. Let's say they took a break and they spend the night there).

The commodore put his coffee cup on the side. "So what does Parliament say about it all ?"

"Declaring it a War zone, they don't want to take risks that it is the Restored Carthage Armed Forces, whatever they call themselves doing it. We are in the mood to take any risks from their type of Nation anymore." he answered.

"I can understand that. This could lead to a war. Maybe.. it's just what we both needed. They have causing trouble as of late and their genocidal policies are nothing short of disgusting. What does the international community say ?"

"The International Community is staying very silent right now, we have had reports of some air patrols by a Nation called Grays Harbor, not much more information on that. Things are however looking our way at the moment."

"Let's hope it stays that way. Maybe we have a chance of "talking" some sense into that nation. In the meanwhile would it be a good moment to focus on the rebellious colonies as Oost-Eylandt is relatively close by."

"Oost-Eylandt and West-Eylandt joined the rebellion and now try to keep the system of indentured servitude intact even if that would mean independence. But no fire has yet been exchanged so there might be a peaceful resolution."

"Particularly Oost-Eylandt holds some importance because of the naval base an Langepunt and the airbase at Dong Nan. Apart from that it holds no real value for us although a lot of the people there are blood from our blood. So it holds emotional value as well."

"They signed a declaration of independence. But no attacks have taken place. Not even on Marines or Navy or Air Force personnel that were on leave and decided to go out in the colony rather then returning home. It's very quiet over there."

"Well, you might want to begin to worry of these marines and pilots turning for the rebellion, because then they will have more than ample supplies to aid this from what you have told me." he said.
