"Well currently the situation is well under control. We have however a problem with a Nation which had attempted to aid the Govt attempting to halt the independence of one of their regions. We had to arrest thirty of their citizens, they are small but now they are publishing what you could call hate films and books. Ignoring the fact that annoying us will not work."

"Well, not much yet. We are planning a large military parade in the Capital itself, something to show that we are not kidding at all. Maybe some participation from Free Tristania?"

"Elements of First Fleet are already approaching your coast. We could miss some units in Robbeneiland. Maybe some Fuseliers and Marines. After all it will be the Marines that will be protecting our base here. I will contact the Ministry of Defence at home..."

"It should be for naval use and maybe later on a small military airfield, that can be shared with the Globexians, so located on the coast." The commodore was said while he looked around for a map of the seaboard.

"There was a Merchant Navy base situated there, it was shut down ages ago and destroyed. Apart from that, there is none in that area."

"The old port had a depth of around ten meters in most points, fifteen in another. The climate is slightly colder than it is here, some icy conditions in the winter begin to appear too. The soil is pretty frozen most of the year, is a survey needed?" he asked.

"That might be a good idea.. and we have the problem that our fleet is mostly adapted to serving in our own waters.. which has of course a slightly different climate. Would it be possible to include a wharf where ships can be refitted ?"

"Well, the most used Navy Wharf is 068, it is however being used at the moment. It should be clear in a week tho." said Ryan Gache.

At the gate, the guard took the letter again and opened as he did before. Then again passing it along through the security forces until the Secretary again was given the letter to give to the men in the Office.

"Another letter, again to Commodore Nicholls and this time also for you, Mr. the Prime Minister." she said, passing the letter to Commodore Nicholls.

"The thing that it would need a naval base to refuel and be refitted for the long journey. Could we use Globexian facilities for the time being ?" Nicholls asked.

"They have enough for that. They would have been refuelling after one week of patrolling but we don't know for how long they will be patrolling off the Carthaginian coast. So refuelling here would be a good idea. Will the Globexian fleet, if included, also bring tankers and ships for maintenance and replenishment or should we ask for First Fleet's reinforcements ?"

"Well most of the Fleet we are sending is Nuclear powered and the main lesser ships are diesel powered with a somehow ecological engine. But we have only brought enough Merchant Navy ships to refuel the Northern Fleet for around a year of trip, not counting food. So you might want to call your own men in."
