"I'm sure we could send a Military expert or two, alongside a civilian one. How are the relations between West Guiana and Free Tristania right now? I do not know much of it at the time." asked Ryan.

"No official peace treaty has been signed. Ten Marines of their Navy are still being held in the interior on charges of slave trade and a West Guianan politician was arrested in our waters but is now beyond our control as he is being held in a slave state. For now.. not much seems to be happening. But I think that our government is preparing for the next time West Guiana is making an aggressive move. There are some military plans in regards to an invasion by our forces in West Guiana but I am, of course, unaware of the details or the scope."

"Frankly I wouldn't know. The last thing I heard was about the six states leaving the Commonwealth but there seems to be some military action down South."

"Nothing, nada, said Ryan Gache, we have banned them from announcing this. We know it could be a tactical advantage if areas like West Guiania got hold of the free information floating about. They know not to release it, and we will begin to deny it if any small company says something is happening."

"Well.. I think that the Navy, for the most part, will be defending the Commonwealth so the South will be blockaded from all sides. It can't take too long.. unless.. unless a nation like West Guiana comes to their aid." The commodore had a sombre expression on his face.

At that moment a Marechaussee approached the gates to the government building. He waved the guards. "Gentlemen.. I have a message that needs to be passed on."

Two men walked slowly towards the car as two others pointed their weapons at the driver, four snipers began to aim at the tires, obviously taking no chance.
As the first guard walked up to the window while pointing his M16 at the driver.

"Who are you, and what the hell do you want?" he asked quickly.

"Free Tristanian Marechaussee. Military attaché's office. It's a telegram from Prime Minister Den Uyl." The man leaned out of the window and slowly took a document from the dashboard. "Would you be so kind to pass it on, please ? And please be so kind to tell Commodore Nicholls that the two wounded are well looked after."

The guard cautiously took the letter nodding, as soon as he returned to his post, he closed the door behind him and put on a gas mask as he slowly scanned the letter then opened it. After a few minutes, he nodded and put the document in another letter, taking his gas mask off and walking out of the door shouting "Clear".
He passed the letter to a man in a police motor bike, speeding silently through the roads until he got to the staff entrance. Nearing the P.M.'s office, he passed this to a secretary whom silently walked in, passing to the foreigners.

"Something from a Free Tristanian Marechausse, he also told to tell Nicholls that the two wounded are being looked after?" she said, having only been quickly briefed.

"Luckily the boys are safe then."The Commodore took the letter from him "We care about our men." He read the letter and passed it on to the diplomat. "Looks like our government is moving in to do battle. They crushed a rebel group somewhere in the Uplands that tried to take over an armoury and they arrested a group of MilInt officers in a national park close to that area. First Army is controlling the main expressway along the west coast having taken over the motorway bridge across the Rooirivier."

It mentions a certain group in Heuvel, wherever that may be, that has been send there to protect the Royal Family and that this group has received additional support from a unit of Grenadiers that had previously received the order to clean up a MilInt operational area in a nearby national park. "
