A Message From The Grand Coalition of Rithian

It has come to the attention of the coalition that the Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia, commonly known as simply 'Japan', has begun to expand at an alarming rate. The Coalition has long been a champion of the rights of nations, but the foundation of this international organization which essentially is just an extension of your empire cannot be tolerated. Normally we would welcome such a force, as it adds to international balance. However, the past warmongering of Japan and its leaders has led us to the conclusion that the Rithic Sphere has been undeniably violated, and the interests of the Coalition have been compromised.

As per the Twelfth Pact of Shiloh, the Sixth Amethyst Pact, and Directive 2029, Rithian has established its protection over all territories reasonably within Nerka's sphere of influence. As per the Annexation Treaty of Agrasia, we have also established our will to maintain stability in the Far East, especially around the islands of Agrasia. As this organization is threatening both the stability and safety of these territories, we have no choice but to issue an ultimatum.

The Nippon Strategic Pact of Steele will immediately follow all demands made by the government of Maltropia. Afterwards, the Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia will pay for half of the money required to re-establish stability in regions under Japanese control, the other half being paid by the Coalition. Any nations wishing for protection from the Dystopia as they leave the Steele Pact may immediately apply for Rithian's protection. If there is any difficulty in restoring peace, Rithian will aid the process.

We will preserve stability, both in our own interests and that of the world. Listen to our requests, and live. Ignore them, and die. Upon rejection of our proposal, the Coalition will immediately go to war with Japan. We will take a lack of reply as a rejection, and will react accordingly. The nations in this pact are in no position to go to war with Rithian in addition to its already many enemies.

Although your concerns regarding the growth of a nation with a track record such as that of the Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia are understandable, the Nomadic Peoples of YellowApple dispute the claim that the Nippon Strategic Pact of Steele is "just an extension of [Japan's] empire"; considering that a number of the nations here (including YellowApple) have demonstrable superiority in military, economic, and social power over Japan, we are skeptical of your claims that this is merely an expansionist front. If anything, it would be benefiting our own expansion more than theirs.

We also are skeptical that the formation of this Pact has caused the Rithic Sphere to be "undeniably violated", or that it is "threatening both the stability and safety of [the islands of Agrasia]". Do you have quantifiable evidence of unrest or other forms of instability caused even in part by the Nippon Strategic Pact of Steele or any of its member nations since its formation? If you do, we would be most receptive to hearing it.

In short, we feel that, without any quantifiable indication that this Pact is at all expansionist in nature or causing instability in territories not under the jurisdiction of any member state, the Nomadic Peoples of YellowApple have little option but to dismiss your claims until said quantifiable indication is presented. We, the Independent Republic, condemn this so called "strategic pact of steele". This is no doubt another way the hypocritical "Communistic" Japanese Empire is trying to expand itself with. If you are seeking economic and trade growth, think again, for the Japanese are waging total war, exhausting their economy to shambles. This is not a threat, but a warning.
And a personal note from me, John Hughet to the "Emperor of Japan". Please see a psychologist before it is too late. I warned the Canadian Prime Minister, but he did not listen. Perhaps you would be wiser and solve your problems. I have personally seen it been effective.

Sure, the provisions give extension to their power, but it also gives extension to the power of the entirety of the Pact of Steel and all its member nations. Nowhere in the existing documentation regarding the functions of the Pact does it at all state or even imply that the Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia would benefit from this any more than another member nation.

We see nothing wrong in the creation of an alliance to mutually strengthen the members thereof by a shared commitment to friendship and unity. Regardless of whether or not your competing coalition happens to dislike the Greater Evil Imperial Japanese Dystopia, it still has a right to allies, and trying to state otherwise is an insult to the concept of national sovereignty. You have yet to provide any concrete evidence that this pact is actually detrimental to the international community as a whole, which voids your "justifications" in demanding the disbanding of the People's Strategic Pact of Steel.

Again, we advise you to reconsider your negative stance. We do not wish to have to choose between peace and national sovereignty.
