In my last post, Kyrenaia began reconnaissance of the Islands via satellite, low resolution pictures and so on, as well as collecting intelligence. Of course, that would include at least looking up on a map, what the neighbouring countries are and looking into their history with Saint Sowena. However, I plan to go a step further and have them look a bit closer and see, that the Astorian Navy is getting ready for large scale excercises and conducting them off the coasts of Morhaedines. Of course, everything would be explained ("Over the next few days, while the fleet was getting ready, Kyrenaian spooks began their work..." or something to that effect). Would that be alright with you?

That all sounds fine with me. The Astorian fleet that will be "exercising" won't be subtle about its preparations or movements so there's no reason you wouldn't be able to recognize it as the warning ("we see you messing around in our backyard, tread carefully") it's intended as. I also like the proposals you made in your newest post, lots of good story opportunities there. I'll try and have my own post up ASAP

Love your post, especially the reply to my diplomatic missive. With other entities and powers assembling to indeed actively interfere, they'll have quite a bit to observe. Before the 80's Baja Colorado was somewhat chaotic. Antonio Sellósa's plan to rebuild the economy meant expanding trade to the Atlantic. Baja Colorado has a military base in Panama, and since SSatM (your nation) is positioned between the Panama Canal and the Atlantic, I thought it may be beneficial to have a base there.

We may also help rebuild the islands after the war (if the rebels win, of course), by supplying our Natural Gas, as well as by building renewable energy plants across the country.
