I'm for three out of the four, but the veto suggestion needs modification.

There's plenty of us in here with differing ideologies, and one member deciding to be against the Syndicate's ways could easily shoot down a pretty important vote with just a few words. Thus, I'm not gonna kill the veto idea (executive action is good, after all) but I'm going to push that each veto would need a second from another Syndicate member. This ensures that at least there's two guys on board, and not just one simple rogue thing hanging out there. If the veto guy is also doing something crazy, that way he'll have to drum up support for a second before simply just dropping the veto-hammer on something as well.

It's a safeguard, and maybe a bit time-consuming there, but it'll prevent more egregious vetoes or the real killer, people who are about to have their veto month expire and simply drop them on legislation because they can.

If that's not good, then I propose we follow the American model and have a vote number (2/3, 3/4, whatever) that can override a veto. Either way, absolute power over legislation pieces in the hands of one member not so inclined to support the Syndicate could be anything from annoying to disastrous. We don't want to make that mistake. Lookin' out for the big picture here.

The rest of them are good, particularly the team idea stemming from the Conglomerate teams that are awesome.

I agree with Jenrak's notion, save the team bit. |:

I'm not exactly the most social person ever, so I don't tend to forge very good OOC (in my eyes) ties with other people when RPing, and I don't have any IC ties with anyone on the in the Synd anyways, besides Abruzi. So, between that, I really don't know who I get along with or not since I don't interact much, and when I do I tend to keep it quite closed up (all my threads have been invite-only).

Unless you're willing to let me be part of my own team or something, I don't really know where I'll fit in with such a system, enh.

I'm going to have to apologize, I may be inactive over the next few days. I don't want to broadcast why I may be inactive over the next few days on the public forum, so whoever wishes to know can telegram me.

Sorry, I'll be sure to be more active when I get back.

The following are nations with which Morningstar currently has open and friendly relations:
The Kitsune Empire [Xiscapia]
The Pokosian Commonwealth [O Boyce]

The following are nations which Morningstar is aware of, and knows a little about, but currently has no formal contact with:
The United Extrasolar Kingdom [Ozymos]
The Russian Empire [OMGeverynameistaken]
The Technocratic Confederation [Techno-Kat]

The following are nations which we only know rumors and stories about, and these make us nervous:
The Arkas Avhuvria [Jenrak]
The Celestial Republic [Amazonian Beasts]

The following are nations which are officially declared enemies of the state, and with which we have open hostilities with should we encounter them:
The Lost Planet of Arullan [Brewdomia]
The Immortal Pathogen [Rethan]

The following are nations with whom the only contact or information Morningstar has is communiques through Syndicate channels:
The Ascendancy [Storm Gard]
The Personalities [Seperates]
The Forged Steel Private Military Contracting Company [Abruzi]
The Federation of Terra Empira [Terra Empira]
The Tiuraboan Domination [Tiurabo]

Interestingly, you can basically duplicate Morningstar's profile in relation to myself as well, with the addendum that the Kitsune Empire has open and (potentially) friendly relations with Yokohama Prefecture, as well as a good OOC one.

From the list, the Rethast don't really have very many relations with people. It also takes a lot for them to actually dislike someone and be totally unwilling to work with them, which is why only Morningstar gets that prestigious reward. Anyone under Neutral/Unknown could forge friendly relations with the Rethast. Or at the very least, wouldn't be targeted by the Pathogen straight away.
