Faye came back in. “The coast is clear. Carolyn went home for the night. Vice President March is out and Matthew is busy watching that gothic soap opera of his. He has recorded every episode.” Faye said. “Now there is the question of what to do with you.” Luke said.

Soraya nodded weakly, then promptly fainted.

“Well, don’t worry, your secret is safe with me.” Matthew said.

Konrad left Soraya to herself. He went to his room and sat down. He then began to hear sobbing. It was a male’s sob. Then Mustafa materialized in his room. “You.” Konrad said. “The room Konrad, the room in the East Wing. Go to it and see for yourself.” The ghost said and then disappeared. His room door then swung open and music began to play. He followed the music to the room. He opened the door and saw the President of South Aprica doing a speech.
“Good evening people of South Aprica. In the past few weeks we have been receiving refugees from the UAC. The situation there has worsened. We as a nation must open our arms to these people and accept them as our own.” Lester said. Then the room switched back to what it was.

Meanwhile downstairs the portrait of Mustafa began to glow. It then got brighter and brighter until Mustafa came out. He floated down and looked at the portrait. He then turned away and walked outside. He walked along the columns of the palace and then turned the corner and began to twist and twirl around the columns and soon faded away.
Scott sat in a chair where Soraya rested. It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have said anything. I will not leave this place until she is returned. Scott thought.

Our very country was founded on a new idea, The idea of governance of the people by the people who are governed. By this point in time 23rd of October year of our lord eighteen hundred and fifty-seven the institutes of slavery are things of the distant past. But in our own country at this moment, millions of enslaved men women and children are denied rights that all men should have. As time changes so should our constitution which is why we rewrite our constitution every nineteen years. This time we are emancipating the enslaved men women and children in the south. But as to make the change peaceful and painless we are giving the states that currently hold slaves in the southern Jamesian republic till Eighteen Hundred and Sixty One to let their slaves go. For this I pray that our country can heal from this time in our history and move forward. God bless you and God bless the Jamesian Republic.

Nura arrived at the embassy in Tasir. She was able to identify it by seeing the Insaani Flag. Next to it was the embassy of Kousel. She went in and spoke with the receptionist.
