We still haven't even gotten an acknowledgement of our concerns... WTF...

And Bash, you still haven't given me a casualty count for the SAM's I attacked...

And Reich still didn't acknowledged the XLRAAM attack.

He/she seemed to half-acknowledge it happened, but still no indication of casualties or strategic impact.

I mean honestly if I had known that's the response I was going to get I would have just wrote a damn one-liner post like "The Inyurstan fighters fired missiles at the German aircraft before they could land in Bashriyya"...

I acknowledge the attacks, just haven't gotten around to fleshing out the details IC. Will edit my last post to reflect as soon as possible.

I'm not deliberately ignoring or godmodding, I wasn't able to flesh out my responses to any tactical attack properly because research takes time, and while I can pull a lenghty conversation out of my ass, I can't do the same for anything technical. I'll refine my response and tell you all when my tactical response is ready.

Mostly still trying to figure out countermeasures - there's a gap of a few seconds between the missile arriving and being fired, where countermeasures can be fired. I acknowledged losses in passing in my "godmod".

And I don't see my post as a godmod - every nation of importance most likely has spies and other covert assets in eacb other and I gambled them by concentrating a good number of my assets in New York for the raid. I don't know if it's alright with Stojam (since it's his country), but I spoke to Bashriyya, and he was alright with me using covert assets placed in the United States to join in the raid.

Assuming they can figure out the missile is coming and communicate that fact, which given both the strategic comms jamming paired with tactical radar jamming is highly unlikely.

Home-on-jam mode of the missiles will negate defensive jamming/ECM, the sheer physical size and numerical quantity of the targets makes DRFM jamming sketchy as well (given that a missile homing onto a "false" target will likely slam into the same aircraft or another big target right next to it. Radar chaff provides the same aforementioned problem.
Towed decoys would be your best bet, except the multiple angles of attack involved + the warhead blast radius largely negates that as well...

Honestly I dont give a shit right now only because of the mission going foul due to enemy forces materializing is at least a refreshing spin on the usual SACTO v Redshield 1-sided conflict.

We didn't know about the full op, just that something was about to go down in the area. When the order from Trump arrived, the cops will start talking about what to do and how to do it. That, and the fact that there were a bit more cops than usual gave it away, and we took a gamble by rushing forces. This post is actually meant to be set a few hours in the past, when you all were launching your attacks, but I posted a bit late, so you're right on the warp. I spoke to Bashiryya about it. However, I forgot to speak with Stojam, so i apologize for not asking for his permission.

Also, we are not technically enemy forces for the time being. We want to get rid of Redshield as well, then go back to fighting you afterward.

Yeah I am working on a government reaction post, I just wanted to get the more important combat information out of the way.

Because Germany functionally declared war on them (conditional declaration based on an unchanging condition); it's basically a nation they know is hostile sending their leader a message that says "We know what you're up to right now!".
