BackgroundFrom darkness did he rise, and into darkness was he cast. On the 97th year of the 1st Regsimian Age; Salmair, Guardian of Renas, vanished. None know of his fate, but in his place; rose a great evil, in the form of Saracul Darak. From the Sheyran Underworld did he rise, and amass an army of followers, both mortal men and godly Sevorim. As flame and darkness took the world, all the nations of the world ceased their fighting and joined together against their common foe under the heavenly light of Galda. For 76 years, an alliance lead by the 3 Empires of Luzterria, Kedaz, and Torven and the Republic of Helvaronica was joined by the divine forces of Galda against the forces of Saracul Darak; and on the 77th, Prince Screlden of Luzterria ascended to godhood and struck down Saracul. In defeat, he and his followers were cast into Sheyra; being imprisoned forever...
The Story NowAfter the Great War, many worshippers of Saracul or his followers still existed. These people were known for possessing supernatural powers, granted to them by their fallen gods, as they spread their heresy and blasphemous ways. In order to ensure that Saracul never rises again, the 4 nations of the Alliance have agreed to hunt down these "witches" in religious purges, inquisitions and crusades.
On the Isle of Grendaren, is a concentration of these heretics who have they themselves claim to form the Draekeva Republic, a society of witches dedicated to preserving their faith, standing against the followers of Galda, and establishing a new world order upon the bones and ashes of the nations who stand against them. And so, conflict rages on in the area around this island.
While the Draekevan Witches attempt to establish a foothold in Northern Helvaronica, Eastern Foricia and Southern Lariloth; Torven grows worried as the witches approach closer and Luzterria struggles to defend it's provinces and territories from Draekeva. The Kedazite Empire as well has taken notice, and the Helvaronic Republic wrestles Draekeva for control of the seas.
In Curvan, has gathered once more; an alliance of 4 nations who absolutely despise each other, united against their common foe. A team of the very best will be gathered, to strike upon a Fortress in the Sursilbris Peninsula in Eastern Grendaren...

The city of the guards they called it, built in a plains region surrounded by mountain ranges; horses ride free throughout the land as quarry workers work endlessly to produce stone for the machine of the Luzterrian Empire. Massive statues of the Curatrium Guardsmen built out of the stone from the quarries leave travellers in awe as they pass through the roads on the way to Curvan.
Far off to the Southwest of this region does lie the city, elevated on a higher ground with teirs and walls dividing the city as the Curatrium statues watch over the land, their swords in hand. In stone of white, buildings of the finest Luzterrian architecture and engineering rise up and display the extravagant power of Luzterria to all who visit. Set off as a farewell to the Witchhunters, a parade marches through the city. In army-like fashion, these men and women march with dignity as they beat their drums and blow their trumpets. All the while, a song is sung in a beutiful hymn:
Losnein! Daroth,
Kedas poroth
Gar locci los,
Ortosin roke ros,
Fel cree poroth del,
Daroth poroth ris poroth del!
Bor poroth alfa,
Daroth seko poroth alfa!
Fel ada edas,
Ath coroth por asa kedas!
Dar shey!
Dar shey...
By the docks, do groups of people of all nations gather. In many colors do they dance, and do they speak. The green and gold of Luzterria, the red and gold of the Kedazite Empire, the white and green of Torven, the red, white and blue of hElvaronica; oh so do these people gather, in the name of the heavens to vanquish the evil that poisons the Earth, these people are the Witch-hunters.
