First of all, not the thread to complain in. Make your own. Secondly, some are genuinely unsolvable, this sucks, but they are hard to generate and I can't catch ALL the issues without player testing. The unsolvable ones should be somewhat rare, but I can also see how, if you're struggling with the kakuro already, it's hard to immediately spot that your one is unsolvable. There is no penalty for pressing f5 if you are stuck, and you will get a new one.

Well I'm too dumb for math games, so I asked AI which was even more confused than me. Then I googled for Kakuro solvers, and they all said my last 5 puzzles were unsolvable or had errors, so uh... how can I not complain?

I mentioned earlier that I believe I came across some puzzles that were mathematically impossible, if I understood the rules correctly. I wasn't sure if these puzzles were randomly generated using something built in-house (i.e. by one of the gameside developers) or if they were all pre-made and chosen at random. If I come across any more that seem unsolvable I can take screenshots of them if that will help.

Next time an event happens, just use something similar (more or less) to the N-Day setup -_-

24 in 3 slots=combination of 9, 8, and 7
23 in 3 slots=combination of 9, 8, and 6
30 in 4 slots=combinaion of 9, 8, 7, and 6
29 in 4 slots=combination of 9, 8, 7, and 5
17 in 2 slots=combination of 9 and 8
16 in 2 slots=combination of 9 and 7

We wanted to use puzzles for several reasons, including that it makes sure it's a player experience and puppet masters can't dominate the event (like in other events we do).

Right, unsolvable kakuro should be much much more rare now.
