Gifting Cards

Apologies if this question has been asked before (I did look but couldn’t find anything) but with the changes prior to S3 were there changes to the rules concerning gifting cards?

Gio did tell me that it was not possible to gift cards if there was a bid on it, but I’ve tried to gift cards without any bids and the button does not work.

So, am I missing something or is this a bug?

There can be three reasons why a gift is denied:

1) You don't have enough free bank to pay the gift fee.
2) You have an ask on the card, preventing you to gift or junk the card.
3) The recipient doesn't have deck capacity.

In any of those three cases, the game should tell you the reason why the gift failed.

I think it might be an old hardware/software issue. Normally I play on my old iPad and the gift button does nothing - doesn’t even bring up the space for the recipient nation.

Just tried it on my more modern iPhone and gifted between my puppets without any problem.

That'd be it, I've noticed the issue with older versions of Safari where you can't interact with the right hand side of cards (also s1 cards look funny with the "rear" showing through).
