Overstocking

I am currently overstocked with about 205 cards (deck cap is 200) and I'm unsure if its worthwhile buying a deck expansion (I already know I can't open packs or accept gifts if I don't), as its kinda pointless to buy a deck expansion if I'm just gonna go overstock in the future. I don't want my collection spilt across multiple puppet nations as I want my collection in one place (also for deck value). As I currently have 45 bids (probs gonna increase that a lot in the near future) new deck expansions don't last long. Including puppet nations I have a total of around 30 bank which means I can buy the current deck expansion but I'm unsure how more expansions I will be able to buy.

Any thoughts on weather I should stay above or below the deck capacity limit are appreciated.

Sorry to have to say so, but I suspect you being a puppet (in disguise) too, therefore your posting is void.
But, just in case I´m wrong (sorry then), I´d say, with twenty feeder puppets in your region alone, paid space of 500 cards (when buying the "site supporter badge, which doubles card space) should be easily affordable for you.

This would be the most disrespect answer I ever saw

Giraffeton is a WA member, so he cannot be a puppet of any other WA nation, since it would be illegal, and he would risk both his puppets being detected and deleted. Certain you know, but moderators do not joke around with WA multis.

Site Supporter Badge cost real money.

Plenty of players has given up of deck expension, especially since they cost, other use their puppets for space. two choices with different cons

1 stay bellow deck capacity : you are unable to collect cards to your heart contents,
you will have to use puppets to collect cards you cannot do on your main.
deck expansion cost a lot.

2 Ignore deck capacity
coffin-breath will be unhappy
unable to open pack
unable to receive gift
you will have to rely on puppets and on transfer cards to fund your main. and its not that easy to buy cards for cheaps, when you inflate them (main bad point for me), but many are doing well.

First not a puppet (I'm in WA like it against the rules to have have multiple WA accounts), do tell me your reasons as why you think I'm a puppet
Second who would i be a puppet to?.
Third its nice to know that you think highly of me.
Fourth what if I don't want to be Pay to win?
Fifth I know i have 20 puppets and I never said I was struggling for bank
Sixth I know ima stay in overstock if not now but in the future, so whats the point of buying expansions?

Well, I´m sorry, my mistake, obviously I didn´t look close enough at your nation; it wasn´t meant to "discredit" or offend you; you could be a puppet though, even as a member of WA, if your "suspected main" is not or if using multiple accounts (also no offense given).
This sneaking suspicion came up, when looking at some of the transactions in your record, just to let you know the reason, why.

The reason of "buying expansion" is to first playing fair and "by the rules", and second, to have a fully functional nation).
The reason of buying the "site supporter" (for real money) is, that for the low price of one beer (if someone prefers to measure in this currency) you support a site, which you´re obviously planning to spend a lot of time on for having fun (or for whatever reason else), thus somehow "rewarding" the voluntarily and unpaid working "mods" and "admins" (and of course, Mr. Max Barry, the founder) by contributing a little bit to the maintainance costs of NS to help keeping NS "chargefree". Plus, to get the "doubling of deck space", of course.

According to the rules, you can go over capacity, but at the cost of a few drawbacks. So, within the rules of a fair game, both options are good.

My advice: consider your goals. Then consider the consequences of those goals in the future.

My goal was collecting epics and do that for all seasons. The moment i considered my goals, it was clear that paying for deck-upgrades would become impossible soon enough, so i decided to start playing above capacity right away. The drawbacks are real, but manageable.

Lemme guess precious nations?
Also can I ask why do you so many quotations when they are not needed?

Anyway the whole reason I made this topic was to ask weather its worthwhile to buy deck expansions when I know I am going to go into overstock some time into the future

In my native language they are "needed", sometimes to twist or highlite a word or meaning (a little bit), and for other reasons as well; this might be different in English (especially on the "net"), though (so my guess) is very common in "elevated" script and language...

Of course my apologies for assuming you were english. How dumb of me to forget that other countries exist with different languages

If you can make it through without buying deck expansions then there is no reason for you to do so.

It is not against the rules to go above deck capacity, no matter what some people might claim.

The only problem I have is that I can't transfer legendaries from puppet nations cause I don't have the bank to transfer the card at MV. And I can't transfer it for less cause well other people will outbid me

Don´t worry, there are only a few thousand (seven or eight thousand, I guess) others actively spoken in the world...

I say stay above the cap bro. If anybody asks you if in you in this game, you tell 'em you in it for life, a'ight?. You play it hard, you play it tight, and you make sure NS players know you gonna stand by your people. No loose talk, no second thoughts, and no snitching. Play it like that. Do what you feel! But you best be prepared to finish what you start.

This here game is more than the rep you carry, the corner you hold. You gotta be fierce. But more than that, you gotta show some flex. Give and take on both sides. You only got to f* up once. Be a little slow, be a little late. Just once. And how you ain’t gonna never be slow, never be late? You can’t plan for no sh*t like this, man. It’s life. The street is the street. Always.

Depends, if you pull a legendary you want to sell for bank, you can just sell them on a puppet (you can also do this on a puppet you use for trading/selling legendaries/receiving gifts etc) and transfer the bank to your main at a later point.

If you want to transfer it to your main, yeah that's the pain point. You could also collect legendaries on a nation that only has your legendaries for example, that would eliminate the deck space problem for the legendaries for now. I have my large amount of collections divided between a number of nations to make it all manageable for example, and there are a lot of other people that do this.
