But as others have mentioned, it's the ichef.bbci links that have issues.

Discord probably is not going to happen. In fact, Discord has been blocked for a while due to the spammer using it to host obscene images.

You can't embed an image on the rmb, so this only applies to the forums.

When I looked at that link, it routed me to the Imgur view rather than the pure image view. The game can't process that as an image because it's not an image. The actual image link is https://i.imgur.com/Txoemq6.jpeg, so the URL is in fact incorrect.

That is often true, and finding the right link can be tricky because image hosts want people to actually visit their site, not just hotlink images, but PotatoFarmers' link does also work fine for me between [ img ] tags:

Basically the source of all my images. Googleusercontent is one of the most used image hosts, so it would be a good host for NS.

Giphy is one of the largest gif hosting sites on teh web, and Tenor while not as large is much easier for mobile users to employ.

Starting now, images can only be embedded in posts if they live on a common image hosting platform.

This is a brutal kludge required to address an active security issue in the old forum software. It does, unfortunately, make it an incredible pain to edit old posts with images hosted elsewhere.

Please report any problems with the above, or requests for extra image hosts.

When requesting an image host, please include an example of the image you want to include. So not just the name of the website that hosts the image, but an actual image. The same goes for if your image is not working.
