How are collections sorted?

Sorry if this has been discussed before, if so please send me a link to it.

When adding cards to collections, they seem to be inserted in random order (from what I can see). Beyond sorting by common/uncommon/rare/etc. it would make sense if it was alphabetical or by population and so on. Do you know how it sorts?

First by rarity, with Legendary first and Common last. Second it's sorted by nation ID number, which is unique to every nation and an indicator of age. Last it is sorted by season, with more recent seasons first (S2 before S1).

Small correction, I believe season 1 comes first. This can be proven by a quick look at Koem Kab's deck, where his many copies of S1 Testlandia come before their S2 counterparts.
