I proffer this collection titled Orange! to be listed under Flags & Names, as it is a collection of cards with nation names/pretitles/mottos that contain Orange, and flags that have orange on them (I have a rather loose definition of the word orange, and may be colorblind  please let me know if any of the cards in the collection don't belong)

Seeing this collection is actually super exciting to me. For a very long time I was considering doing a collection along this theme (but with pink or magenta instead of orange) but didn't have the bandwidth for managing yet another collection. So I'm super excited to see someone bring it to reality. :D

Since Lextrius has been CTE for a while now, I'd like to propose to replace the current defunct Food collection with my, slightly smaller but active collection. Still, I have been working on this the past 3 years or so, and it is over 1000 cards of all three seasons.

Thank you, it's been added. Another one of your great collection, congratulations!

And in other news I also added Koem to the list of people who completed a Season 3 legendary collection. Congrats to him!

Some of these subcategory collections turned out very well. How about adding just this one, Gio?

Season 3, Update 10

Added:
  • Aerilia's "The North Pacific S3", biggest complete regional collection
  • Comuny's "Medieval"
  • Minoa's collection, the largest at the end of Trading Cards's initial run during the 2018 April Fools
  • Power for People's "Credit Cards"
  • SAFT's "Cards About Cards"
  • Yodle's "Gaggle of Guineas!"
Edited:
  • Updated the descriptions of Ostro's Ultra-Rare and Dr Hooves' Uncommon Season 3 collections to mention they're now complete!
  • Added a mention of Seanat and Osheiga completing Season 3 legendaries, as well as Yodle completing all animated cards!
  • Moved collections to and from the Boneyard in case of the owner ceasing to exist or reviving.
  • ...and other minor fixes!
Not added:
  • A Failed President's collection, for the same reason as rejecting the previous submission, no matter whether one collection or multiple.

Also, I have two questions to ask the community about that I've been pondering:

  1. What do you think about the current descriptions? Are there some that seem too obvious and could be improved, if yes how/which ones? Sometimes I know little about a theme so I can't really write much about it, I admit.
  2. Is the Volume Collections threshold at 1,000 still good, or are we walking towards there being too many collections there that they kind of lose the distinction? If you think the latter, feel free to suggest a higher amount.

Hello, the Internet Archive link should be given prominence in my entry because it contains flags that do not appear in the live game due to the snapshot occurring much later. In addition there is a small possibility of me returning to the trading card game if I can find a cost-effective way to unblock the card capacity bottleneck.

1. Maybe you could ask the collections owners to write their own dscriptions, if they want to; and sometimes a little bit more and better descriptive text would be appreciated.
2. we guess, the threshhold of 1000 is still fine; the problem is, that colections are so different, so this is not a real measurement (i.e., it´s relatively easy to amass 1000 cards showing the US-flag, the Union Jack or the 'default aborigines flag', because there are so many of them out there, while other collections, especiallly 'themed' ones obviously will never reach even a few hundred cards, because those cards simply dont exist ); also there maybe shouldn´t be counted collections of cards from different editions, if those cards are not at least different from their earlier issues (other picture, other rarity, aso), but should be split into 'editions', we`ld say...

You haven't seen it all if you didn't see this World Class Collection - a specialist collection of cards from nations that both held the Class and WA/Delegate status at the time of printing. Currently the bulk is season 2, with some additions of season 1 and several hundred season 3 cards mixed in.

Actually, I´m not quite sure, if it´s correct, that such cards (nations) can exist; after all, there´s no way to contact 'class' nations, which sometimes seems necessary (and usually is done relatively often in case of some votes) for information or 'lobbying'. Imo, 'class' nations , at least when holding 'delegate' status, should be excluded from the 'no contact' policy therefore, but this maybe should be discussed in another thread somewhere...
Nice collection though.

I gave it more prominence and also explained the flags aspect, does it look better now?

1. That sounds reasonable - if any collection owner is unhappy with their collection's description and is reading this they're free to let me know about what to change there.

2. That's very true, broad themes generally have more cards than niche ones but both collections are equally impressive. Though we do have to keep the volume collections part something for collectors to strive for, so keeping at 1,000 seems still reasonable for the moment (with the possibility of raising it in the next season).

The other suggestion from you, though, I don't think it would be feasible - splitting them into seasons would clutter the thread and make it harder for viewers of it to search cards of a given theme.

Nice collection though.

I don't see a problem with class nation cards existing, there are now two great collections (one for class nations overall and the other is this one) about them in the thread, and at least a few collections here made by class nations (which is nice of them to get involved even with the outside contact restrictions). The only oddity I've observed is them being able to apparently send telegrams but not receive, but that is outside the scope of this thread indeed.

All S3 + all legs from all seasons finished now, thanks luc :)

for those who might be unaware: i was the third person after sakana and noah to get to 222 legs (and the first who came into the season with zero pre-saved packs), but i never got the last one until now. i probably never would have finished it if not for the generosity of luc/fauzjhia.

i’m not coming back to cards for the time being due to irl but i guess some closure was achieved today

After a year of off and on work, I have finally completed my collection of every season 3 card with 5 million population! https://www.nationstates.net/page=deck/collection=55286
The collection totals 1455 cards, all with 5 million population. Many of them are default flags that cte'd in a month, but there are a few interesting flags and gems if you look for them.
I am also working on a collection which contains all cards with 5 million population in seasons 1-3, but I still have 129 season 2 cards to go. I still need to get around to placing bids on all of them :| That collection sits at 2219/2348 cards collected. https://www.nationstates.net/page=deck/collection=55287
I look forward to when season 4 comes out to collect the next batch of these cards! Especially now with the frontiers update, there will be a lot more variety in where nations spawn instead of just the Pacifics.

I’d like to present my collection of cards from Bloodborne and other less good FromSoft games.

As the name implies I am of the opinion that Bloodborne is the best Souls/Soulslike FromSoft has made. I do like the others but Bloodborne is easily my favorite that I’ve played. Not entirely sure about the title, that may change in the future.

So far it only consists of cards from Bloodborne, Dark Souls 1, and Elden Ring, but once I get around to actually playing the others I’ll hunt those ones down too. From what I can tell it is the largest of its kind so far, the only other one I could find only had five cards.

It’s not complete, I have a bid up for one more and there are likely others I haven’t been able to track down yet, and I’m still debating whether or not I want to include cards that aren’t explicitly related to the games but happened to reside in regions that are, as well as those that are only related by sheer coincidence. I do not plan to include anything from the Armored Core franchise or any other FromSoft games, just the Souls/Soulslikes as those are the ones I’m interested in. Regardless of what I decide it will definitely grow in the future as I add more games.
I don’t roleplay much, so all of my posts will be OOC.
