Seeing that the topic has changed slightly, I believe that I will most likely remain as a legendary. I can't say that with certainty, since I haven't done anything super significant or outstanding, but my season 1 and season 2 stats were both significantly worse than the current state of my nation. I guess it depends on what changes may be made in determining rarity for next season, and the weight issue writing/stats holds over rarity.

I'll certainly be impressed when you have 22 gold badges, twelve issue authorships, and two commendations/condemnations.

There's no official word, that I'm aware of, but if season 3 happens, I suspect that snapshot will be mid-late november and the actual season will begin towards the end of november or beginning of december.

I think you can make it to UC, since some people make it to UC with a few top 5% badges alone.

I’m hoping to reach rare, but I’m not sure if a GA resolution would get me there. Anyway, I don’t mind the color green. I just think blue would be better. Even better would be yellow, but that’d be very unrealistic for me.

Honestly there's been such a drastic uptick in the total number of nations this year versus last year, I don't know that I could accurately estimate rarities for anything. If the snapshot were today and the percentages were the same from the last go round, we'd have 44 more legends (53 new ones), 450ish more epics, over 1,300 more URs...Experience looking at cards doesn't help too much at the moment. It might be reasonable for me to be casually optimistic about having enough stats to make legend by the end of this year. I also really hope that I'll be able to add Sylh Alanor into the S3 UR collection

At least it looks like whatever people thought about their rarity before, they might end up being surprised in a good way by the end. Thanks weird Reddit/YouTube explosion.

Curious if there are other old-timers like myself who have hard-to-get badges and weren't in S1 or S2.

I'm guessing he's responding to the question posed in the title, as just about everyone in this thread is.

There are a lot of factors which go into determining what your card will be badges are only a part of it, but if you were a season 2 card you'd be Rare like this card, so assuming that the calculations don't change too much, or the non-badge factors don't push you one way or another, then yeah, I'd say you'd probably be rare.

From what I can tell being commended/condemned automatically boosts your card up to ultra rare, since there are no commended or condemned nations who have a value below that level, so I think you'll be at least UR. I'd wager you'll see your card go up to epic, at least, since you have a hefty chunk of influence to go along with your condemnation.

Regarding the thread's question, I really don't know; I guess 'Common' since I wasn't active when seasons 1 and 2 took place, and I don't have too many badges.

But that isn't of my interest. What really moves me is the aesthetic quality of flags/cards, no matter the card's rarity. I hope the next season will have new designs, or improved ones.
