I see that you're back as delegate as of the day before yesterday. If you maintain your delegate status up to the snapshot, I would expect you to retain your rarity if nothing else has changed. If there end up being fewer total nations at the next snapshot versus the last one, I feel like you could be nudged into rare.

Yeah ultra rare would be my bet for your card even without issue authorship.

Thoughts on the rarity of this nation? I'd like to make it a rare but the international artwork stat skews my stats a bit so I don't want too many good stats and become an UR by accident.

Based on this fact, will I become a Rare by S3?

There's a few times in The Hundred Oaker Wood collection that these cards had 1% badges, usually in trout fishing, but remained common cards. I would guess that you'll be uncommon with the two 1%s that you have, and where the line is to rare I'm not as sure. I can say that An Actual Hurricane was assigned rare with seven or eight 1%s at the time.

Did you edit in your second 1% badge in during the update period?

If my nation cards rarity was legendary that would be funny as hell.
Sadly my card would probably just be common.

When I found my own region and get my stats up, that mainly being religiousness, there would be a good chance of my card being rare.

I'll probably found a region then to ensure a 'rare' rarity. Thanks!

I have six normal gold badges, one gold easter egg badge, 18 top 5s, and 11 top tens. If I add founder, what do you think my rarity would be?

idk

2 golds, 23 5%'ers, and 11 top tens -- whatever that translates to, I'm happy.

With a founder that's a pretty good chance of being a rare

I don't think so, stats may not be good enough.

See: https://www.nationstates.net/nation=bal ... ultra-rare
and: https://www.nationstates.net/nation=bal ... ultra-rare

however, https://www.nationstates.net/page=deck/ ... 6/season=2 has an epic status but that's with 8 resolutions.

Cards should still only affect someone's rarity by adding a single other badge. It should carry the same weight as any other NS stat.

Whilst I'd love for this nation to become a rare, considering the fact that some random puppet of mine is a rare only because it's a founder account, while this one is an uncommon despite its significantly higher number of other badges, I'm willing to bet I'm gonna get a triple strike here and end up with an uncommon yet again.

They maintain joint control over affairs normal governments would otherwise be concerned with.

I'm pretty sure the only stat badges that count towards your rarity are golden ones.

That would make it very difficult for a majority of uncommon cards to exist, were that true. It's even possible, although unlikely, to be ranked as rare without a single gold badge.

That's kind of misleading since it's a delegate's card, which likely has the same influence as founder. Just looking through the 9000 rares on this nation, there are a ton of founders with no actual NS stat gold badges. I did find a few completely gold/delegate/egg/supporter free rares.

This one is a good example: https://www.nationstates.net/page=deck/ ... 8/season=2 .

I still agree with your point though, all badges seem to be counted, not just 1% badges. If someone managed to get 40 green badges I'm sure they would be rare or higher as well.

Seems like it is just the general volume of badges, with better badges having higher weights

The only golden badge that my S1 card has is an easter egg one, and I'm not sure whether a single golden badge would be sufficient for uncommon without the support from the list of brown/orange and green badges that I had back then as well. The golden ones ARE probably more valuable, all things considered, but I don't know how valuable the easter egg one is compared to a normal golden badge.
