With the introduction of the trading cards API, this has now become much easier to implement.

With this in mind, we are now opening up subscriptions for three types of information:

1. Card subscriptions: Have all of the information provided by the cards API about a specific card logged on a daily basis.
2. Deck subscriptions: Have all of the information provided by the cards API about a specific deck logged on a daily basis.
3. Region subscriptions: Have the international artwork statistics and top-20 decks of a specific region logged on a daily basis.

For now, the recorded data will take the form of XML files identical to those provided by the cards API, stored separately for each day. Ultimately, we plan to add some automated graphs, e.g., plotting a card's MV and number of owners over time, etc.

All subscription requests will first be reviewed by the Guildmaster of The North Pacific Cards Guild before being added to the above lists of subscribers - this is a precaution step to avoid unreasonable subscription requests (e.g., "track all 1,000 nations in region X", etc.).

There have been two updates to the subscription service:

1) Tracking of cards now includes the "markets" shard.

2) For each subscribed deck and card, there is now also a file containing automatically tabulated data. This is to make it easier to get information from all the logged XML files. Here is one example: https://azure.nsr3n.info/card_records/8 ... 2/data.txt

Not sure this is the right thread but I'll give it a go.

Card players tend to discuss cards much more actively off-site on Discord, either in a server dedicated to cards or in one of the many regions which has a server dedicated for cards. This is typically where commentary on auctions happens as posting auctions on the forums would usually end before anyone notices (people check Discord more than forums). This is also typically where conversations about improving how one acts in the market happens as well since advice can be given in real-time.

While the forum was previously extremely useful if you were wanting to say collect all epics, the card query has fortunately managed to simplify that task by providing a list of all epics and you can bid on them at your leisure. Typically most threads are people looking for cards that can't be found using the card query feature (eg. flags that have cats on them).

There certainly is activity going on in the forum and there will always be activity here.

The server hosting the card market watch has been updated to include a valid SSL certificate. This means that you can use HTTPS URLs for both pages without getting "security alerts" from your browser.

The OP of this thread and the related dispatch have been updated to point to the HTTPS URLs. The HTTP versions remain available, though this may change in the future.

There was a server issue affecting some of the information in the card market watch (pull odds and top decks). This has now been fixed, and the missing/corrupted data has been corrected.

Epic cards have a junk value of 0.50, although sometimes the market value can be higher and you can earn more bank by selling than junking it.

The subscriptions service has now been updated to offer collection subscriptions. You can subscribe to have all API-provided information for collections you like logged daily.
