This is a good, fun game and a great way to explore new countries and see what other people are up to, plus the overwhelming majority want it to stay, but I can see Bohseon's point about it taking over. But once a year is way not enough!
I also like what The Libertarian Knighthood proposed with a daily box to open - I think that would work quite well, but then we might need to get more cards in the daily box to make it more worthwhile, say 10 or 15?
I've found it quite hard to get anything else done all day as you don't want to miss the opportunity to collect cards, but having a new box every 10 mins would be a bit much if the game were an ongoing feature of the site.
Perhaps another option would be to have the game for about 5 days, or 1 week of each month instead, so that it's definitely a 'side project', but it's there frequently, so we can all still enjoy it, but still be able to do other things as well on the other three weeks of the month!
However, whichever way they do it, they need to let us keep our deck and add to it each time the game appears, not have to start again from scratch, as it would just be too depressing to have to start over each time when you've already tried to build your deck up to something you want to keep.
