One of these days we really gotta get up and get this done. A strong contender at the moment seems to be the Grand Coalition. Perhaps along with recruitment, it would be wise to make alliances with almost all participants and factions. And not just non aggression, a common war. These mega factions leverage their massive numbers, we gotta counter that.

Realistically that would just create another megafaction, as alliances typically don't work as well.
We tried to throw a curveball at megafactions - they complained and now there's faction ejections. Good luck, we're about to see the same thing shake down for the 4th year in a row.

Maybe there could be a limit to how many non WA nations are allowed in a faction at onece. Then again, they could just create auxilary factions for their main faction. But there needs to some adjustment of some sorts.

The best way to nerf and discourage megafactions would be to buff the production of WA nations while simultaneously further handicapping non-WA.
