the Labyrinth made the leaderboards yet again, using a controversial yet effective tactic.
After being nuked out of the game within the first 30 minutes, the Labyrinth had nothing but time to decide what they were going to do next. Suggestions ranged from joining Potato or ANAL, flooding the faction with even more puppets to pull the score back up, or just giving up right there. However, we decided on a simple yet effective tactic we've seen work in several other N-Days.
Using other regions, we founded several secondary factions with the sole intention of achieving a positive score, and then ditching the faction and closing it off to any new members. As far as we knew, this was a legal strategy, and successfully countered the megafactions scripts and macros. We hid nearly 1000 puppets in Horsemen and used the shields earned from production there to defend these factions while we were doing this.
Is this the right way to play N-Day? Probably not, but its between this, joining a megafaction, or not playing at all.
