It'd be more practical to limit factions to 1 nation per person, maybe with only WAs like with the raiding/defending meta. The event would also subtly push more people into the World Assembly this way too.

Your second point is filler to me. That's the point of N-Day: people team up, people nuke you. That's how this works.
And no, there definitely was a winner this N-Day. You can't possibly say that the Crabhorses "didn't win". They won it. Was it won "fair and square"? That's questionable. If you look at the current N-Day meta, it was totally fair. The correct question would be "is the current meta fair?" That's up for debate, but in my personal opinion, no. It certainly isn't.
And no, there were no bots. There were only *scripts*. Basically, you press a button on your keyboard and it performs a certain action (such as destroying incoming missiles). Are scripts stupidly annoying? Yes. Were there bots? I don't think so.
Edit: grammar.

Maybe there should be no more events of this kind because things like Discord allow for too much co-ordination off site to the point of being able to just destroy the competitive aspects. As in how does one prevent puppets when they're a core component of raid/defend from being used in mini game events? How does one prevent all the regions from just uniting as one because everyone wants to win?

What has changed since the IRC days?

Well people under 13 are banned from the forums until they turn 13...
(NS players are still very young. TSP's rmb is hell from kids under 13. I think I heard that a RMB regular said they were 9 but I can't verify that atm)

I joined to see if it was as bad as I thought, and it is.
