I'm not sure if other years have been like this, but now one of the podium finishers will also have some of the highest radiation

Second place is a pretty epic comeback considering we were at -65k points in the beginning.

Well, second is best.

We worked our way up from 355th, sent The Horsemen to last place and kept them there, then made it all the way to second place. This is THE BIGGEST COMEBACK IN N-DAY HISTORY. Hands down. Nobody has done it better ever before. Silver potatooooooooooo!!!!!

2nd place is monumental when this very alliance was in last place at lunchtime yesterday (underlined for emphasis).

I hope the Horsemen of the Apocalypse have learned their lesson about flooding their factions with hundreds of puppets. Dozens may be tolerable, but hundreds is sheer overkill.

There was a time when I was picking my targets by doing a nation search for 'Vinny.' Wanted to see how many I could make land on one person.

This year was a paradigm shift for hundred-scale puppetry in N-Day.

We got stomped to the ground so early, we all were ready to give up, but we ADAPTED in ways nobody had seen before and we came back so hard! We got SO MANY more hits than anyone else, it's absolute insanity what we pulled off. I can't help but applaud the unbreakable, tenacious fighting spirit of the noble potatoes. Where other alliances might have surrendered to despair and defeat, the Potatoes fought on with even greater ferocity and fervor. Every land burned, every home razed, every soldier fallen, it did not weaken the Potatoes' resolve. It made their resolve stronger.

When Death swept over the Potato lands, he taunted them, claiming that they were trapped with him. No. He was trapped with them. And when the Potatoes flooded Death's halls, they did not come as prisoners and victims. They came as invaders and liberators.
