Nuke Specific Number

Ok it's clearly too late now, but next time, can we please be given an option to target a nation with a specific number of nukes instead of just these 4 options? Or at least make it 8 options with one of them always being 1 nuke. It's annoying when one guy is at 95% radiation and the options are like "3, 8, 15, and 30"

Sometimes it has to be the way things are, So that things can make actual sense here. Nuclear Strikes are within an instant in 5 minutes as nukes have to constantly travel across the globe. i.e. For North Korea towards America, It would take probably 10 minutes, from Pyongyang to Washington, D.C. 5 minutes from Pyongyang to Honolulu, Hawaii. And with Russia, 4 minutes from Moscow to Juneau. Be aware that there are shields man-handed by the Military that can defend the country and stop the nuclear bomb before it incomes towards the mainland. Remember, Nuclear Bombs are developed by mankind, Not by robot. So it would make perfect sense of why it would take only 4 options. Each few nukes are developed every 5 minutes in your Production page.

Why are you talking about what makes sense in a situation where aiming is longer than travel times?

Permissions, security checks and actual aiming... All things that you need to do before you launch a rocket.

Yep. IRL, firing a nuke is a VERY BAD IDEATM, because, if one goes up, a myriad of treaties and enmities between countries with nukes will mean they *all* go up. This is, naturally, a situation every country wishes to *avoid*. In this day and age, you'd have to be MAD to start a nuclear war, so there is an extensive list of security checks in place that essentially have the same function as the "Do you really want so [do a thing]?" windows that pop up in games and on OS's when you're about to do something that could potentially fuck you over eight ways to sundown.
Jebslund is a nation of kerbals ruled by Emperor Jebediah Kerman. We reject tyranny, believing that rights should be protected, though we also believe said rights end where the rights of others begin.
Shockingly, we *do* use NS stats, with the exception of lifespan.
Singular sapient: Jebslunder
Plural Sapient: Jebslunden
Singular/Plural nonsapient: Kermanic
Note: When a verb can logically only be done by the sapient using/piloting/holding the object in question, then the appropriate demonym for the number of sapients is used.

Capitalism, Socialism, and Communism are ECONOMIC SYSTEMS. Stop conflating them with political systems.
