Bentham is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Critique of Pure Reason. Kant is clutching the only copy in the universe of The Principles of Moral Legislation. Both men are shouting at you that they have recently started to reconsider their ethical stances.

On this forum, if new posts have been made between when you started typing your reply and when you click submit, then your post is not immediately submitted, but rather you're taken to a page which shows what has been added to the thread, and allows you to adjust your reply accordingly.

If you're used to other forums and think you can safely close the tab the moment you click submit, it can cause your post to get lost.

(It could in theory also be a moderator deletion, but if that were the case I would expect them to tell you what rule you were found to be in violation of, so that option seems unlikely.)
