Wonderful! My second N-Day, spent in EDF. We really went from not having a faction the day before to 5th place, ggs. I reckon having a big amount of mains and WA nations, maybe around 50%, helped a lot. Despite getting obliterated at the end game, we managed to get higher up there than we ever expected. This is my second N-Day. And like last time, it was great, except for the lack of sleep, and the fact that I missed the last 9 hours because I had to sleep. Surprisingly, our European Defense Force (EDF) was just created, and finished in 5th place in the top. Part of the event was pretty ordinary, just destroying fascists and weak factions for points, but then it became much more fun with the appearance of Grand Coalition (GC), who first helped us and then we helped them. I made almost 10000 strikes, and a few tens of thousands more were shot down. It would have been nice to survive, but unfortunately our faction was completely destroyed by Horsemen of the Apocalypse (HOTA)

I am quite happy with our faction's performance. We survived, and were able to rank in the top 20 for the first time, compared with 29th last time.

Intercept nukes the egoistic fascist faction tried to strike people with. Protect myself from a random guy who tried to nuke me with shields. Get protected from the tiny amount of nukes remaining by the shieldbank, and then wake up to getting nuked by the Trans Republic (because they can nuke whoever, and they decided to attack Yggdrasil)

All in all, it was a pretty good day although I do agree with the negative sentiment regarding the mega factions, it hardly seems fair that a faction of 1000+ members can even exist due to the ridiculous amount of power they can project. In my opinion it serves to hinder the diversity of available factions as it is simply impossible for people and by extension a smaller faction to be able to fend off an attack which defeats the purpose of N-Day. Still, really fun day and I'm looking forward to the next one in a few months time.
