Here In Finland6 Crime is at a all time low we have only had 1 or 2 crimes in this whole year thanks to our police force.

My topic is self defense, If someone is attacked by someone else do they have the right to defend themself?

In Finland6 you have the right to defend yourself in a situation where you are under attack

I have to agree that if possible you should turn the other cheek. However, if someone threatens your life you have the right in my country to defend yourself.

Only if he's using some sort of explosive weapon inside a narrow hallway and/or his children are standing right in front of the attacker, and jumping up and down on a caffeine rush.

Heh or an Ar15 inside the building. Or 12GA shotgun slugs... Those things penetrate most walls. A lot of weapons people use for selfdefense can penetrate walls, inside ones at least. One missed shot could penetrate a wall and hit someone in another room.

That's why you train to not miss. And use weapons with HIGH knockdown, low penetration (like hollopoint .45)

I'm speaking of someone without horrible aim, shotgun, fully automatic weapon without single-shot capabilities, or having a Western style gunfight from twenty feet away.
