Inside Cole banged his fist on the table. He was utterly frustrated. "What a nice, fucking mess this is ? Interrogation ends in a shoot-out. Suspect probably dead meat and thus escaping justice, two of my men injured. Bloody good show, Baan ! I want another one like this." He smoked while walking up and down his office. Baan was standing there at attention. 'But alright.. you couldn't have known if he was such a psycho and nothing is mentioned in his report either !"

" Lovely, just fucking lovely. " he said as he swigged a large gulp from Williams bottle, who let him do it and served himself a drink after.
" If he does live, he will need a lot of luck. " said Williams.

"Luck ?" Cole said. "They will line him up if he does surive. We will line up his company and make them watch while he gets shot at that meadow there.. (he pointed outside) in the morning after his trial. He is a dead man now whether he survives or not !"

"I might be willing to join you in that. Baan.. get me the whiskey and bring your own cup." Cole picked up his cup and cleaned it.
Baan walked away and came back with a bottle of whiskey and filled the cups while an MP lid the small fireplace behind it. "Since we're all stuck here for the night.... we might just as well count our blessings that the terrorists will be just as powerless as we are. Still.. I have doubled the guard and I have given the order for the other nice two gentlemen to be put outside in the rain with full gear and no weapons for the rest of the night." He pointed at the window where on the parade ground a couple of MP's placed the two men in the middle of the square.

He switched on the radio and searched for the Globexian channel.

On the Radio channel, a voice was heard.

" Welcome to radio 5, FM 90.7 ! In other news, the Government has took over a large colony for fifty million USD, also as we talk, around 100 thousand men are fighting tribal gangs in an attempt to take over a large island which could become Globexanter's biggest colony. " the radio crackled.

_ Any idea on the enemy death toll ?
_ Yes, a lot more then us thankfully.

Cole looked at the bag. "Well.. some fitting music will do. Baan.. get me van der Merwe..." Baan walked to an older gramophone that was standing at a table behind them. "Van der Merve.. was a famous composer during the last century of light classical music. It's sill playing by orchestra's all over our country and probably in Globexanter as well."

Baan got back after he put up a record. He took his cup and waited for a moment.
