"Gentlemen." A Major came outside and saluted. "Dinner is ready to be served.."

[Globexanter]

The Colonel grinned and packed the gear away, then waved the Humvee to keep on driving.

" What's for grub today ? " asked Williams walking into the HQ.

[Free Tristania]

"I am not sure. They use different rations here then they use in the country itself. It's probably a mash pot as they call it here. Endive, and potatoes mashed together with bacon and some meat. Probably served with some soup."

[Globexanter]

" Sounds good, better than the normal grub. "

[Free Tristania]

The Major said "And bread, sir. Freshly made." Cole nodded. "Normally we don't really eat bread and the like in Free Tristania. It's a rice bowl after all but the bread they make here is pretty decent."

[Globexanter]

" Enough talk about grub, let's just go eat. " said the Colonel, taking his helmet off.

[Free Tristania]

"Good thinking." Cole led them to the table where there was food was waiting. The steam was still coming off the soup and the mash pot looked fine enough. Next to it were two roasted chickens. "Gentlemen..." Cole said. 'Let's dig in.."

[Globexanter]

" Good idea. " said Williams as he sat down.

(OOC: Time jump to the interrogations ? )

A couple of MP's brought in one of the Para's into an interrogation room. Cole was sitting behind the glass with a glass of cognac and a cigar at hand.

Williams joined Cole and silently sat down next to him and opened a bottle of vodka which he put in his own glass.

" Started yet ? " he asked quietly.

[Free Tristania]

Baan came in and closed the door behind him. "There he is" Cole pointed. Another officer also came into the chamber. "Lieutenant Sawyer was involved in today's patrol so he was there at the scene."

The door went open again a naval officer came in. He took a chair and positioned himself at the table. "I am not sure about this bloke.. what does the Navy have to do with this ? I heard there was a naval officer at the spot intervening."

" Think they'll deny the charges or accept them ? " whispered Williams to Cole.

Behind William, the MP Louis Calvin came in.

" Did I miss anything ? " he silently asked.

[Free Tristania]

"Well.. there were too many people around to even try to deny it. So they will probably try something else."

Cole turned to Calvin "Not much.."

[Globexanter]

" What's the maximal punishment he could get in this case ? " asked Calvin as he sat down.

[Free Tristania]

" Probably 4 years imprisonment, loose of rank and dishonourable discharge. As he didn't pull the trigger."

Baan sad there. "Name !" He said on an icy tone.
"Vrijmoeth J.L, sir !"
"Rank, rank number !"

"Place of birth ?"
"Aberdeen, sir."
"It has come to our attention that you have pointed at your allies in anger with the intent to kill them. Luckily you changed your mind as Lieutenant-Commander Jones here would have made you a hero of the fatherlands. A dead one to be more precise. You and your buddies also tried to trick an MP and destroy evidence. What is your answer ?"

" Good to know, the man who had shouted the remark has been severely warned, to make it fair. " he added as he watched the interrogation.

[Free Tristania]

"What will happen to the men that threw the the smoke grenade into the house endangering the lifes of the Para's ? There is a warrant on their names from our MP's.." Cole said.

At the desk Vrymoeth asked a similar question.
"What happened to those bastards that threw in the smoke grenade ? It could have gotten us all killed."
"There is a warrant out for their arrest." The answer was brief.

[Globexanter]

" Yeah, about them. We're not permitted to arrest them on our side, only warn them for a final time. They're part of the Civilian sector, so we cant fire them. " said Calvin.

[Free Tristania]

"I thought they were infantrymen ?" Cole said.

At the table Jones fired a question at Vrymoeth. "Why did you join the Regiment ?"
"To become a good soldier, sir."
Jones nodded and took a note.
Baan took over " You do realise that you and your friends have brought yourself in a position where you can be dishonourably discharged and this will also affect your further, probably civilian, career ?"
"Yes, sir, I do ?"
"Didn't you give it a thought ?"
"No, sir, I didn't."

" They are, but part of the civilian regiment. I found that out last night in their documents. " said Calvin, passing him three files.

[Free Tristania]

"Sounds like a nice mess then. Could you have their case to the civilian court in Globexanter and let your man take them to Globexanter where they can be arrested ?"

[Globexanter]

" Yes but the problem is they had a reason to do it and they didn't commit any war crimes from my angle of view. "

[Free Tristania]

"But it did endanger my troops, Williams. My advise is to have them arrested and give them a minimum sentence. Also because it would take away some of the anger that is now under my troops."

[Globexanter]

" As Louis has just said, the Court of Globexanter will have to review this. I do not control the buggers. " Williams said.
