The pilot nodded. "Right-O, I'mma out of this place," he said, and drove the plane straight up. He smoothly worked the controls, and then the surrounding area paused, zoomed up, then slowly lost depth and became as a flat plane.......and then the plane was out if the universe. It soared, leaving the Thread they had just come from shrink in the existence as the pilot, from memory, twisted and turned the plane over and under Threads, spiraling around the massive things as he plotted his course to the FK universe.

Other things could be seen: the massive shadow of something, far off in the distance, something too large and big to be fully seen but one that practically exported vastness just by looking at a piece of it; a flat surface of material, on which a spider like mechanical thing sat with a woman on it sipping on a steaming cup of soup; a swarm of Aether Gyroptica investigating, their beady seventeen eyes blinking as they looked at the craft before zooming off; and the general openess of the space in-between Threads.

The pilot nodded as he dove into a dive, swooping under a arrow-like spaceship with metal frills at the front, remarking, "Yeah, there's a lot of those guilds scattered around this multi-verse. Pretty popular things. Me, I prefer the Travelers Bar myself, but eh."

He pointed to the bar in question, a kitschy 1950s neon and zeerust affair, looking like a classic UFO at which things from all kinds of realities were parked. "Joe grills a mean burger there, he does."

The pilot nodded, before pulling the plane low, down into a different thread....one that seemed very familiar....

The Tjread grew larger, a hole seemed to appear from within, and then they were flying above the desired location.

The air was filled with a Loud Roaring and Whining of Rotor Blades and Engines, They were under the shadow of something huge, Nigel was looking up smiling

"The Excalibur was a Large Flying Sort of Aircraft Carrier, It swung off to the side and Began to descend below them.
It Conisted of two runways with sufficient Clearence to land The Largest of aircraft, both Runways were connnected with Diagonal Connectors, The Walkways and Taxiing routes, Down Each of the Runways, Twelve massive engines lined the Sides of the Craft, Keeping it in the air. The Runways, Walkways and Taxiing routes were all built upon the main Bulk of the craft, containing, The Space and Air Craft, Crew Quarters, Offical Suites, Engine Rooms, Generator rooms, Weapons Storage and Firing chambers. At the rear of the craft, embedded in the main bulk, Two Large engines Propelled the craft Forwards, similar engines were Placed at the front, Besides one of the runways, the Control tower and Bridge Stood. A Jet Fighter Came into land

The Emperor looked....actually, slightly confused now. "So, it's like a large plane that carries other planes?" he asked, "Why not just make it smaller and use bi-planes? I mean, the air force is a good thing to have, but why would you need a giant plane to hold them when you could just launch them from base?"

Tesla and Einstein, however, were awestruck.

"It Takes anything upto several weeks to launch from the Ground" Nigel Began "Because Conditions, Exctera, Have to be perfect, And that Doesn't include Orbit times, But, Launched from either, The Excalibur, The Lancelot, The Guinivere or The Merlin a Squadron of Space fighters can reach an enemy in minuites, Plus there's less distance to travel to get to space from up here, Plus The Excalibur is Armed to the teeth, Missiles, Guns, Experimental Laser Technologies, Bless you Japan, And Bombs"

Vasquail frowned. "Bit wrong there, Nigel. Launching space forces from the ground takes, at most, around twenty minutes. Our only impediment is our lack of actual fighters. And we have a few satellites that can defend while we do so. Conditions don't matter, it really is as easy as point and shoot."

Nigel Glanced the Poster Worridly and Sprinted up the Steps to the entrance of the Building, Zoe, Ace, Kayo and Sunshine Followed

Vasquail, Tabitha, and Don never even glanced at the poster as they followed after, leaving Tesla and Einstein to stare at it (and the entire street, as well), before also running to catch up.
