Honestly I was expecting the Japanese would find me before the Americans, but I guess being in the middle of Lake Michigan would get you more attention than being in the middle of nowhere Pacific.

Lake Michigan also happens to have a practice/training carrier in the area.

That was actually more of a joke about it being WMD. As for the details, it will just involve a variety of shenanigans. Right now I am reading about Francoist Spain, so I could have a better picture of it in the head.

A U boote has been spotted in the east, sonar put in active mode on my sub to show the Germans that we're here.
In the west, a Japanese surface fleet is cirlced by an air patrol.
And in Columbia District, orders and preparations are being given and planned.

But I will exclude as completely as possible private feelings or nationalism between countries in this RP. I wouldn't describe a sudden conflict between Joseon and the Axis as if it were natural. There will be incidents that will force Joseon to clash with the Axis. Even if they don't want to.
