Equus meeting (invite only)

Morning sun was starting to shine over Imperial castle. As usual for this time of day, at this time of week. Emperor Bigpip was checking his mail. One letter in particular caught his eye. It was an invitation from east Equus. He haven't heard from there since that dreadful raiding of Equestria. Which begged the question of what was happening there now. Curios, he used his violet telekinesis to tear open the envelope and read the contents of the letter with mild excitement. The contents of the letter were:

Your majesty Emperor Bigpip,

We are afraid that that the number of anti pony elements in the world outnumbers our might. Thats why we would like to invite you to our nation of Democracylandistan in hopes of building diplomatic ties and foster bonds of friendship between our nations.

We propose that we meet in the Flunder hotel in the beautiful fishing town of Fishcoeppcoast to dicuse these important matters.

P.S Attached to this latter are both necessary documents for your stay as well as a ticket for the public transit grid of our nation, since our strict laws on personal transportation would ban a motorcade or something comparable.

"Hmm, Democracylandistan. I haven't heard of them before. It would be best to accept the invitation since we clearly have a common interest. Should i arrive there by a zeppelin or thermal airship? They probably don't have a place to land it there. One of the old destroyer warships would be ideal for the trip." Emperor Bigpip thought to himself. He was about to write a letter back but realized that he didn't know where to send it exactly.
He talked about it with his husband Harmonious Percussion and informed ponies on the imperial council that he will be departing. Bigpip was cautious, this could be a trap but that was unlikely. Still his husband insisited that he comes along as an armed bodyguard. Both Bigpip and Harmonious Percussion were skilled fighters and casters, so bringing anyone else armed seemed excessive. So it was decided, Harmonious Percussion would come along with high quality armor covering everything except his horn. Along with a Draconic design, an inciendary magical rifle.

Bigpip with Harmonious Percussion arrived at a port in Freyden. Basic rations were taken with a mostly full crew, the destroyer set sail to travel along the coast of Equestria east. The destroyer hed signal lights and radio for communication, so that a contact can be established when they get close to Democracylandistan.

On board the destroyer Kreling 304km of the coast near Fishcoeppcoast.
"Kontact! Ship 100 klicks bearing 215!"
"It can't be one of ours, try contacting them with the radio and canntact the admiral!"

[Bigpipstan]

A responce arrives ten minutes later over the radio.
"BPS Amethyst of Anocratic empire requesting escort to a port. We have a VIP on board, which is expected to arrive in Fishcoeppcoast's hotel" answered the destroyer's captain.

[Democracylandistan]

"BPS Amethyst affirmative we have orders to escort your ship to a suitable port near Fishcoeppcoast, which would be Dytrisium since Fishcoeppcoast does not have a large enough port for a ship as large as yours. You will have to take the train from Dytrisium to Fishcoeppcoast."

[Bigpipstan]

"That sounds acceptable, we accept those terms." responded the captain. Emperor Bigpip with Harmonious Percussion have let their captain negotiate as they were asleep up to this point, now they have started to wake up as the destroyer was being escorted to Dytrisium.

A few hours later, the Amethyst and its escort arrive in port of Dytrisium. The Kreling is ordered to patrol the coast near Dytrisium after the Amethyst is successfully docked. Now the Emperor and his husband find themselves in the City of Dytrisium a city which is inhabited by 1,892,122 creatures, many of them Changelings. Many of them find work in the shipyards and other ship related industries. However even an industrial city like Dytrisium has a quite a lot in terms of culture and entertainment especially in Democracylandistan.

BPS Amethyst is anchored and Bigpip with his husband who acts as a bodyguard, disembark. They have a quick look around and try to make their way to the local trainstation where they can travel from to Fishcoeppcoast. Bigpip hed his documents prepared. They eventualy board the correct train, traveling towards Fishcoeppcoast. They are both very unconfortable seeing changelings out here, because a millenium ago, their people hed to defend against their kind. It got so bad that it escalated into a genocide.

10 km before the small village of Pferhte they hear an announcement:" Dear passengers, unfortunately, the train will end here due to a track damage. A bus is available to take you to Fishcöppcoast. I wish you a safe journey home. Thank you for traveling with Democracyrail."

Leaving the train, they see the bus, an older model with a diesel engine and a peculiar-smelling interior. The bus driver is a weird looking human; his skin is an unhealthy pale shade, resembling fish scales. He also lacks any kind of hair and his eyes look a bit cloudy.

[Bigpipstan]

They leave the train annoyed, trotting into the bus they sit down, Harmonious Percussion presses his hoofs against the window while Bigpip is sits almost still. "This place feels a bit stranger then i hed expected it to be." said Harmonious Percussion, turning to Bigpip away from the window.
"I suppose so." he answered, kinda dismissive of this situation while adjusting his purple robe with cyan stars on it. Bigpip was more intrigued by the strange bus driver, wondering why he looks the way he does.
Harmonious Percussion turned back to the window to look at the scenary around them.

As the bus is about to leave, three human teenagers board it. There's a girl with pink hair and an annoyingly high voice, a boy with black hair and dark clothes, and another boy with a handheld console and a red jacket.

[Bigpipstan]

"How did humans get here? No matter, i have more important buisness to attend, this mystery can be solved at a later date." Bigpip thought to himself. Harmonious Percussion meanwhile was starting to feel a bit uncomfortable in the bus seat, since he still hed his armor on.

Finally the bus driver starts the old diesel engine and the bus starts moving.
They pass fields, meadows and finally a forest when suddenly they reach a tunnel. The tunnel ends in a old bridge that goes over the sea.
The bus crosses the bridge and they arrive in Fishcöppcoast. The bus stops near the market square. From the windows they can see more pale humans but also some Hippogryphs.

Emperor Bigpip with Harmonious Percussion make their way out of the bus, near the market square. They felt a bit unconfortable but continued to trot. As they went, they asked the nearest creature for directions towards the Flunder hotel in Fishcöppcoast. They took their time to observe the local architecture. Since they were interested more in how things changed around Equestria and east Equus as a whole.

Fishcöppcoast still is largely how it was before the raids. It was to small and remote to be see any fighting in both the raids and the civil war. The buildings in Fishcöppcoast are made out of a gray stone and their exterior lacks ornaments.

[Bigpipstan]

While the are of Fishcöppcoast is unfamiliar to Bigpip and Harmonious Percussion, they manage to make their way towards Flunder hotel. Harmonious Percussion knocked on the door before entering. Bigpip entered after him as they hed a look around for a receptionist.

Welcome to the Flunder hotel how may I help you?

[Bigpipstan]

"I'm expected here. Could you direct me to the correct room?" Bigpip asked, showing the documents that he was given with the invitation.

Of course your room is number 103 on the second floor its the 2nd door to the stairs.

[Bigpipstan]

Emperor Bigpip with Harmonious Percussion have made their way to the second floor. Opening the room door they pre emptively said their greetings.

However nobody is in their room. In their room is instead a bed, a table with a TV, cupboard and two chairs non of them particular luxurious.

[Bigpipstan]

They have a look around the room. "Looks like nobody is currently here, let's get confortable then." Harmonious Percussion said as he took off his armor and place his rifle on the table.

Suddenly they hear someone knocking on their door.

[Bigpipstan]

Bigpip turns to open the door with his telekinesis. While Harmonious Percussion comes over to him.
