Sister of Klaus Horiegburg Arrested and Charged In Connection With Mass Shooting

Port Victoria, North Region- Eva Horieburg Walker aged 50 has been arrested and charged with a connection to the mass shooting that occurred nearly a month earlier. The sister of the deceased mass shooter Klaus Horiegburg. Authorities say that they are confident in the charges against her.

Authorities have charged her with 12 counts of conspiracy to commit murder, 16 accounts of conspiracy of attempted murder. As well as weapons charges and additional charges of attempting to mess with evidence. She will face her day in court in January of 2024. If convicted she could face life in prison or multiple life sentences unless a plea deal is reached. The families of the victims are hoping that justice will be served.

Officials across six different countries are gathering in Enkyo this weekend to discuss the specifics of what is being dubbed the "Collective Security Alliance Treaty". The treaty, which hopes to modernize the Boreal Sea Treaty Organization to allow the inclusion of members outside the Boreal Sea, has been stated to be vital to the continuation of the alliance. Norudo representative in the Boreal Sea Council, Fumiko Yamasaki, said in an interview that "As our nations are beset on all sides by nations who would like to see nothing less than the destruction of our nation, culture, and peoples, it is imperative that we put this treaty into effect as soon as possible. The future of our nation and this alliance rely on it."

The conference comes on the heels of a Kiberian victory in what has become one of the most unprecedented military actions in the past decade, which has sent alarm bells throughout the Commonwealth Forces. The Empress Meiji Fleet Carrier Strike Group, a part of the Boreal Sea Fleet, was spotted departing Kyoshi Island Naval Base, with a Navy representative reporting that it was outbound to patrol the area north of Norudo along with increased aerial patrols along the Pearl Islands chain.

BSTO Command East Carnolia's public relations officer also released a statement regarding Commonwealth troop movements in East Carnolia, stating that Norudo was "actively decreasing the size of Royal Commonwealth Army personnel stationed in East Carnolia from 34,500 troops to 5,000", with the bulk of the forces being stationed in garrisons back in the Commonwealth.

While many welcome the fall of the Orwelsian government, many in Norudo are still concerned about the expansion of the IOFN and the precedent that the invasion of Orwelsia sets, with some politicians in the Gikai stating that it is a set up to a possible invasion of Norudo and other Boreal Sea monarchies by republican extremist nations. Shūgiin Member Miku Hamaguchi, stated in an address to the Shūgiin that "these extremist nations have started out with invading some of the most oppressive and disliked regimes in the world in an effort to desensitize the world to future invasions of countries that simply disagree with their way of life." She went on to say that people can "see their true colors when they talked about forcing the East Carnolians under the West Carnolian government rather than a middle ground. Their expansion of a foreign policy that actively demonizes and attacks our nation and our culture. They only want one thing, to destroy us just like their ancestors did when they first came to the Boreal Sea area." The inflammatory comments regarding the IOFN's supposed 'ulterior motives' has sparked protests by Kyokutō natives in New Prydai, of which around a thousand had gathered in protest of the introduction of Orwelsia into IOFN amidst the claims that the IOFN wishes the destruction of non-human cultures.

EV Tech Mogul, Kei Hayashi, has been arrested early this morning following an indictment by the Enkyo Prefectural Court. Hayashi was arrested on charges of misleading regulators and commissioning the tampering of evidence. Hayashi's indictment and arrest was followed by the arresting of 48 Galiev employees, all on similar charges. In the Prefectural District Attorney's complaint in Enkyo v. Galiev Y.K., they stated that "Kei Hayashi and other high level employees, researchers, and engineers at Galiev Y.K. have demonstrated repeated attempt to mislead regulators and either ordered or carried out acts of tampering with evidence."

Trial is expected to begin soon, however the Commonwealth Communications Authority (CCA) and even the Economics Security Commission (ESC) have a laundry list of charges to present against Hayashi as well for false advertisement and defrauding investors. The Enkyo Prefectural District Attorney's Office said in a press release that "Negligent Homicide is not off the table" in terms of possible charges.

Kei Hayashi's defense team said that the "Teiba-ken Prefecture is crossing the line on what is legally practical" and that "the EPDA's Office will not win this case against Mr. Hayashi." Backlash from Hayashi's supporters, namely long-time supporters of Galiev and SpaceLink, has been immense, with the EPDA's Office having stated that its staff have received death threats since the indictment. Questions are already spreading about the fate of Galiev and SpaceLink should Hayashi be convicted, with fears spreading that the conviction could actively put both companies in danger of failing.

The trial is set to start on 20 January 2024.

The Economics Security Commission intervened in the buyout of the Emperor Motor Corporation buyout today after an out-of-control bidding war started between the Sociedad Kiberian de Automóviles and Aleralsk Motor Industries over purchasing the company. While it wasn't exactly stated why the ESC will do about the situation and whether they'll go forward with a claim to the Enkyo Prefectural District Attorney's office, the ESC stated that it was operating "with upmost concern over the risk that both companies have taken during this endeavor" and stated that the Commission is "investigating different avenues of approaching the situation".

The Commission's Foreign Exchange Office (FXO) also stated that it was investigating both companies under suspicion that both were bidding with the intent to utilize foreign government assistance in violation of the 1978 Corporate Protection Act, which states that a corporation or organization cannot use the assistance of a foreign government to buyout another company. The FXO stated that it was not sure if the Commission will pursue blocking the purchase on the Corporate Protection Act or if it would use a different avenue to block the purchase.

After the recent complete overtaking of Orwelsian forces by Kiberian soldiers, and the forced implementation of the Federal Republic of Orwelsia, Colom Padraig has taken some time after recovery to reconsider his stance on the Monadh-Og Pact, alongside relations with New Prydai. Colom Padraig has previously stated his distaste for Prydain foreign ministers and writers actively going against the wishes of Syrasia, whom he considers one of, if not they're single greatest ally. Colom Padraig has gone on-record to state that, quote:

"New Prydai's insistence on war instead of compromise has forged a stain that will not fade easily."
While members of the P.L's cabinet, and even Colom himself in a much lower-key interview stated that:

"New Prydain and Ghadlig relations do not have to suffer permanently because of this. However, my stance is clear; I will never see war as the better option to compromise."

BUDGET PASSES NARROWLY AS GOVERNING COALITION SHATTERS!

A near crisis erupted within the halls of Kiberia's General Court when Former Progressive deputy party leader Isabel Serra announced her intention to breakaway, forming the Partido de la Reforma Social (Party of Social Reform) and taking with her the vast majority of the old Progressive Party and even claimed some members of the Liberal Party who were unhappy with the current government's handling of domestic issues, or lack of handling of said issues. The liberal Party saw a drop from 67 seats to 47, and the new Social Reform party saw a bump to 66 seats, giving them the status of the largest party. However they did not hold a majority and with their announcement of a coalition break, a vote of confidence began to loom. In the chaos of the legislature grinding to a halt, it looked like no one could agree on a new coaltion. Eventually, the Liberty Party leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, announced a deal between him and President Cecil Miller, creating a new coalition between the Center-right and Center-left parties.

A budget was quickly developed. The left/right coalition however was far from totally in power. The social Reform Party held experienced politicans from multiple parties, and threatened the coalition with a vote of no confidence if certain budget demands were not met. The coalition, which would have no chance of winning the votes, decided to cooperate initially. A budget was passed relatively easily. Education, healthcare, and the military were prioritized. However after the budget passed, trouble erutped. The governing coalition denied any reforms to the healthcare system, and shot down calls for minimum wage increases. This caused the Social Reform Party to lose patience, and called a vote of no confidence. This halted any bill hearings and shut down the Kiberian Parliament. Due to it being an election year, the Presidency was also thrust into a vote. The vote of no confidence failed by a large margin, and a snap election was called.

The Liberal Party expectingly put current President Cecil Miller up for re-election. Gathering most of his support from loyal Liberal Party members, and small amounts from other parties as well. The Social Reform Party put up Fátima San Angelo for their candidate. Ms. San Angelo was one of Isabel Serra's prime supporters, and was instrumental for the case argument for a higher minimum wage while keeping inflation low. The election begins the third week of January, and results will be announced next month due to the nature of the snap election.

MILITARY EXPANSION GOALS ANNOUNCED

Surprisingly, the military was a component most parties seemed to agree upon. With tensions over Carnolia still present, and the recent occupation of Orwelsia, several worrying reports had surfaced regarding Kiberia's ability to defend its position globally. The reports confirmed the Kiberian military at this point in time, could not properly defend itself nor could it defend its allies. This prompted the General Court to seek out faults in the military. This resulted in an agreement of increasing the budget by several billion, while also developing a fully fleshed out doctrine. This called for a 175 ship navy as the main line of defense. It also called for a three-fold of active personnel in the Kiberian Army. Currently the active personnel in the Army stood at just over 300,000 men and women. The goal would be to triple this number to at least 900,000 by 2030. The 175 ship program was a bit more open-ended in regards to a goal date.

The government however understood that this may look like a gear up for war, especially with Norudo expressing fears of Kiberian "Republican Extremism". The Department of Defense made a public statement confirming the following; "Kiberia and its allies in the IOFN are dedicated to the betterment of those living in oppression. We believe in the common man and the defense of personal liberties and democracy. We are NOT an organization bent on domination, nor the oppression of non-human cultures. Here in Kiberia especially, we are for the equal treatment of all, regardless if they are in our borders or not. We are friends with Norudo and her citizens. We do not wish for the extermination of those diffrent from us, nor do we peddle "Republican Extremism". However we indeed wish for a better peace, a more equal peace, and one free from fear, free from want, and free from pain. Diplomacy is always our primary medium to resolve disputes. We are committed to world peace."

Blancor Today: Evening Express Edition

Bond between Firnea and Blancor grows stronger

After the successful friendly match between Bosby Glory and Eldur United last year, another friendly was played between two clubs from Blancor and Firnea. It was a Blancorian Football Friendly between the 2023 Champions Los Retro Nighthawks and Firnean championship favorite Knightsbridge Valkyries.

After a heated 60 minutes the match finished 29-24 in favor of the Nighthawks. The deciding moment was a successful 2 point conversation from the Nighthawks in the 4th after a touchdown that drew the game 21-21. After that the Valkyries only managed to score field goal to reduce the deficit to 29-24.

Especially Firnean Quarterback Thørsgard had fun during the match. "I still remember playing against some of those players in my youth carrer. We even talked about how our life's went and I'm sure we will spent some time together after the game." said the young Nighthawk Star.

This game was the second game in the friendly series between Blancor and Firnea. These were invented to improve the bonds between the two nations. It attracted many Firnean visitors who were overwhelmed with the Blancorian friendship and hospitality. Even more games are expected to happen soon, with basketball and hockey becoming more and more popular in both nations.

After a series of mostly succesful talks between Kiberian diplomats and high level businessmen with foreign dignitaries of several nations, Kiberia's Department of Commerce and Department of State announced several significant economic developments. In an effort to condense, we at Toledia Times have decided to give out the new deals in a bulletin format:

Firnea - Dignitaries from Firnea met with Kiberian diplomats to discuss the opening of free trade via a comprehensive bilateral trade agreement. Along with this executives from a major investment bank, Banco de Toledia (Bank of Toledia) was able to open a few locations in Firnea. The services offered would be simple corporate and private bank acounts. However being a investment bank as well, Bank of Toledia would begin to offer asset management services to high net-worth individuals, corporations, and even Firnea's government. This means that the bank can take these individuals and groups as clients to help manage their funds, balance payments, and invest on their behalf. By law, asset management companies and their agents must trade in good faith and in line with the client's risk-tolerance.

Illionar - Illionar also agreed to allowing Bank of Toledia open branches in their nation. Several locations opened that would offer normal accounts for people. However the main location in Illionar's capital, Motorož, was the main invesmtent and asset management branch in the nation. Again it services the assets owned and investments made by high net-worth individuals, corporations, and even Illionar's government. Furthermore Illionar agreed to use the Kiberian Real as their main foreign reserve currency. This would allow them to avoid exchange rate fees when purchasing Kiberian goods or goods from otehr nations that accept Kiberian Reals as an alternative currency.

Matomania - Officials from Matomania agreed to a bilateral free trade agreement, the expansion of Bank of Toledia offering the same asset management services, and agreed to adpot the Kiberian Real as the main reserve currency. along with this, Kiberia has offered students from matomania looking to attend college a international exchange program for several degrees; primarily in political science, international relations, business managmenet, and economics degrees.

New Prydai - Officials from New Prydia had also agreed to the expansion of Bank of Toledia, as well as using the Kiberian Real as a reserve currency. However beyond this both nations agreed to merge the nation's stock exchanges. While somewhat a complicated place, it virtually meant that New Prydai's stock exchanges would be merged into Kiberian exchanges under the Kiberian Holding Company, Intercambio boreal (Boreal Exchange). Boreal Exchange itself is the owner of the stock exchanges, and is also a publicly traded company yet offers no shares of its own company. Per the agreement, Boreal Exchange handed 49% of the non-market shares to New Prydai's govenrment as a form of collateral, and to ensure good faith trading in both nations. This meant for ordinary people however, that any company offering shares to sell, could now do so in both nations, regardless of the company's country of origin between the two. This would allow greater investment, easier investments between the two nations, and strong economic ties without one nation relying on the other.

Noreaster Commonwealth & Kiseone - Both nations would also agree to the merging of stock exchanges and the adoption of the Kiberian Real as a reserve currency. The merging of these stock exchanges meant the holding company Boreal Exchange had to split the shares given out to distribute among two new member nations. Each of the three nations, New Prydai, Noreaster Commonwealth, and Kiseone would obtain 16% of the total shares. These shares served as collateral in the case of an economic phenomenon, and kept the Boreal Exchange holding company free from political meddling. With these nations using the same exchanges, within the same currency, a new customs union of sorts was developed. This would allow the member nations to freely use Kiberian Reals for international trade without worrying about exchange rate fees as currency values fluctuated. It also allows Kiseone to buy goods with Kiberian Reals, making imports cheaper, while accepting its own currency from foreign buyers, making their exports cheaper. This in turn would allow them to further take command of their economy and grow rapidly.


With Kiberia's financial sector moving to a more global stage, and peace finally returning to the world, Kiberian economic experts were hopeful that this would allow more nations to trade freely and at reduced prices for everyone involved.

On Tuesday, January 9th 2024, at 18:00 Supreme Regent Tristan Döhl announced a new executive order approved by the Regency Council. The order terminates immediately any and all foreign trade entering or exiting the country.

Tristan Döhl signed the executive order as a self-strengthening measure to protect local industries as well as ensuring that Königstahl is self reliant.

The Kingdom of Königstahl has been renowned for its maritime trade and its reliance on international trade. Trade has made up a significant portion of Königstahl's GDP making roughly 18% of the GDP. The ports of Stattenburg and Völtenheim have been economic engines of Königstahl. However with the cessation of trade called “The Tyrant's Blockade” has left many people in the shipping industry immediately unemployed. Many more are expected to become unemployed and many businesses that relied on exports and imports are expected to go under in the coming months.

As a result of the economic turmoil. Many take to the streets to protest these measures. In the city of Völtenheim in specific, over 100,000 people take to the streets, largely coordinated by labor unions, to protest the order.

With the protests, the government acted swiftly mobilizing the military to quell the protests. As a result hundreds of protestors are killed and thousands others brutally beaten in the ensuing violence. As a result many protests began to flee inland in the mountainous terrain.

Many military bases in the North defect to the opposition bringing their resources to their side as well. The national government is powerless to restore order in the North. The opposition met with the exiled queen, Elisabeth von Tanix. They formed the Opposition Alliance, to remove from power the military junta who ruled the country since 2003.

The nation of Kiberia was shocked eariler to hear that Konigstahl's regent was halting trade, especially after reports came out on protesters being killed and imprisoned. Kiberia was quick to condmen these actions and dedicate resources for the aid of Konigstahl's citizens. Rapidly two hospital ships were deployed south along with one Frigate for defense and for additional personnel to assist the wounded and hungry. Once the group had arrived on the northerneast coast, the hospital ships would sail into Konigstahl's waters to pick up refugees per their agreement with the northern opposition. Announcements and instructions were played on intercomms regarding where the ships were. As medical and military personnel got to land, camps were rapidly constructed on the northern beaches as food, medicine, water, and other critically needed supplies were distrubuted to resistance members. Secretary of State Isaac Cortez had called upon Kongistahl's government to stop the slaughter and to re-open the country.



Behind the scenes, President Cecil Miller and the Secretary of Defense met with exiled Queen, Elisabeth von Tanix to discuss possible Kiberian armed intervention. This would be towards the end of reinstating the Monarchy. It comes to no surprise then when it was confirmed that the exiled Queen had agreed to substaintial democratic reforms. Excat details would be determined after. Rumors floated around regarding Kiberia sending special forces into northern Konigstahl. However these were reported as rumors and the agreement of deployment is not confirmed. For now, Kiberian personnel continue to give vital supplies to the opposition forces. Empress Chiara II dissolves Red Senate; snap election imminent

TITANIA - What had been rumored for months has now become reality: Empress Chiara II has officially dissolved the entirety of its national parliament, dubbed the "Red Senate", and has announced there will be dozens of investigations towards now-defunct parliamentarians for repeated legislation against the Lunapolitan people. It is expected that up to two-hundred former cabinet members will be imprisoned.

The centuries old anti-faunus legislation has regulated that faunus are not allowed to run as senator under any circumstances, effectively leading to faunus interests being entirely dismissed and harshly underrepresented.
"This, of course, is subject to change. All Lunapolitans, human or faunus, are welcome to run for the new Crimson Senate, if elected by their peers", Empress Chiara stated. The faunus population makes up about 55 percent of all Lunapolitan citizens.

Experts spectating the events believe that the latest step made by the Empress has made the nation more democratic than ever before, especially seeing as how Chiara II had also stated that, once the "true Lunapolitan parliament" has been instated, she will keep intervention to an absolute minimum to ensure that the interests of the people are truly being represented.

This past week has seen the governments of Syrasia and other Euralian nations meet in the Lunapolitan city of Titania to sign the new Treaty on Euralian Unity, Friendship, and Peace (known to most as the 'Treaty of Titania') which is set to significantly reform the organisation and makeup of the Union of Euralia and its partner organisations. After days of diplomatic wrangling and discussions, leaders have managed to sign the treaty, which therefore awaits ratification from their respective legislative organs.

The meeting was attended by First Secretary of State Archibald Wilson, who has continued to see gains in his popularity, now known to the average Syrasian as simply "Archie". Flanked by his Foreign Secretary and diplomatic aids, "constructive progress" has been made in both signing the treaty and achieving cordial relations with other Euralian leaders.

The bulk of the Treaty of Titania consists of dissolving the "Outer Communities" of the Union. These were the Euralian Economic Community and the Euralian Agricultural Community. The Euralian Atomic Energy Community has been left intact in order to ensure that the "safety of atomic energy use remains an apolitical and worldwide affair". The EEC and EAC served as a "leg up" towards a nation fully ascending into the Union of Euralia, but now, the dissolution of these communities means that Euralian nations either have the choice of an Association Agreement, full membership, or to be left behind altogether. What is as equally important is the cancellation of reparation payments for the Grand Duchy of Carnolia. Since the end of the Poppy Fields War, the Duchy has been paying a blank-cheque sum to Syrasia, due to the massive loss of life endured by the Syrasian state, but the Treaty of Titania establishes that all UoE members fully recognise the sovereignty of East Carnolia, and that they have paid enough. The Treaty also establishes the groundwork for a Euralian single currency - the Euralian Livre (EŁ) to be used by all Euralian nations. as well as a Euralian Central Bank to issue the currency. The Euralian Council can also no longer exercise veto rights, and on any vote a supermajority of 70% must be reached.

Various clauses and conditions have been created in order to prevent nations of the UoE from feeling forced into a Treaty they do not want. The Single Currency Chapter of the Treaty features what has now become known as the "Opt-Out Clause", where nations can deny the Euralian Livre only if a referendum on the matter is held in their nation. Although this is our first news release in the history of our fledgling alliance, we are not going to focus on the ins and outs of how we were founded, for the free people of the world can read the free news of Kiberia, of New Prydai, and now those of the Nor’easter commonwealth, of Orwelsia, of West Carnolia and Astrellin to see how we've come to stand, and instead we'll focus on the important news in the world.

Starting with an issue that is close to the heart of our organisation, is the Carnolian situation. We know that our admission of West Carnolia was a move that would incur some ire from those on the international community, but we did not look at the past of West Carnolia when the application was put on the plate, we looked at what it is today, a free democracy with a content populace and a democratically elected government that serves at the behest of the people, not over them. It has become a valued trading partner for many of the free democracies of the world, and has used that money to invest in it’s own people.
It is just a shame and a international disgrace that the Syrasian government continues to deny this fate to the brethren just eastwards, for East Carnolia labours at the behest of it’s debts to Pendragon, at the behest of a treaty now eighty years old and men long dead. We know what the Poppy Fields War cost, millions of men marched to war against one and found death in place of any glory or reward, but we also know that nothing is worth the impoverishment of millions so that East Carnolia can continue to service their war debts, nothing is worth seeing hundreds line up outside food-banks because they can’t afford to buy food due to the wreck of an economy that continues to leave thousands out of work and on the streets.
And so, people decided to exercise a right that they should have from birth, they decided to protest. We cannot deny that the violence of the protester’s lead to the death of a man doing his duty to keep the peace, but we also know that the deployment of weapons of warfare to quell protests, regardless of how violent they are, is a unjustifiable act of aggression against the citizens of East Carnolia, tanks and members of the Syrasian Knightmare corps were deployed into East Carnolia, theses were protesters, and yet they were treated as a hostile enemy. Six hundred protesters were arrested and it is still unknown as to what their fate is.

Compare this to West Carnolia, where no such violent action has occurred, where no tanks have been driven onto the streets in order to drive protesters off, and where the right of the people to be able to discuss their discourse in public places, to be able to show how they feel publicly about how their country is being run, is allowed. Compare again, how people line in the streets to receive their bread in East Carnolia, and how people shop freely in West Carnolia. It, from the standpoint of the IOFN, is clear. The problem lies not in the IOFN’s recent decision to admit West Carnolia into the IOFN, but with the state that continues to, even as we type this declaration, extort hundreds from a state that was ravished by the war just as equally and has no way of being allowed to recuperate and rebuild.
Due to this, and the incredible disparity between the West and East of Carnolia, we support the only option that remains, a true unification of the Carnolian people that would allow them to be able to properly function again, and we call for Syrasia to relinquish their hold over the people of East Carnolia, to cancel the Carnolian war-debts, and to finally let the Carnolian people unify peacefully and to then allow for the people of Carnolia to decide where their fate lies, whether it lies in the IOFN, or in Euralia.

Thirdly, we welcome our new members in Kiseone and Astrellin, who successfully applied to join our alliance to ensure prosperity, equality, and freedom for all within their borders, and we thank them for believing in the shared dream of humanity and every sentient creature under the sun that is democracy; the right to be able to chose who runs your country based on merit, not blood. To know that those in power are ultimately answerable to the people, not just themselves. And to know this, is to know that whether your country is run by a king or a pauper, it is the people themselves that make it great.

We also stand in full support with Kiberia over their recent moves to liberate the people of Orwellia from the their tyrannical and abusive government, which sought to continue to keep it's people under oppression unseen in any part of the world since Poppy Fields War. We shall stand in unity with the newly liberated people of Orwellia, and we pledge to help Kiberia ease the suffering of the civilians as they transition to democrat government through both investments and the admission of Orwellia into our alliance, thus ensuring that it'll remain a free state as long as we remain resolute in our will. We send our warm regards to our fledgling member in the Federated Republic of Orwelsia, and hope that through combined support of the IOFN and the international community of nations that we will be able to rehabilitate the formerly hostile state of Orwelsia into a grand and sovereign nation, and we shall ensure that is run by the people, for the people.

And finally, we'd like to also call upon the international community to condemn the state of Englereich which has embarked on a course of action that should, and we hope that this will be unilateral, be condemned. For any nation whether it be a member of the BSTO or IOFN, GNMC or unaligned, should see that slaughtering your civilians in the street is never, and will never be the right course of action under any circumstances, and furthermore, the Regent's recent action to close of the country entirely not only sparked blood filled protests, but will serve to cause poverty, and economic ruin.

Closing of Embassies
Following the perceived betrayal of the international community, Supreme Regent Döhl took offense to their responses to the ongoing crisis and the League of Nations Resolution. As such, Supreme Regent Döhl has ordered that all nations who have embassies and or diplomatic missions in Königstahl, must vacate the nation within one week or the sites of the embassies will be seized by the Königstahler military.

While the threat is considered empty by most political analysts, it is growing concern as several leaks from discontent military commanders show plans to forcefully seize embassies if they are not vacated within the time period. Furthermore, more military personnel are deployed to the capital of Stattenburg. While the stated reason is to quell the ever rising protests, it is believed that they are preparing for a military operation.

While on the topic of the protests, the death toll due to the harsh government response has reached 5,300. Many consider Stattenburg and Voltenheim to be under siege by government forces with Königstahl declaring martial law a month ago.

Declaration of Tannenreich

With the increasing violence befalling Königstahl, millions of Königstahlers flock to the North of the country where under the leadership of the exiled queen, Elisabeth, declared themselves the legitimate government, called Tannenreich. Following the announcement, Queen Elisabeth reopens all diplomatic channels with the world and all trade, calling for all nations to halt their recognition of Königstahl and recognize them as the legitimate government.

The queen reaches out to all nations to provide whatever support they can, economic, humanitarian, diplomatic, and military support are all welcome in their battle against the despots who have ruled the nation since 2003. The Queen declares this as the “Violet Revolution” to bring peace and freedom to the nation once more. While their military consists of rebel guerilla fighters at the moment the Queen pleads to the international community for any aid in their fight.

In a concerning development, the Alt-Right Anti-Syrasian Committee has recently commenced arming themselves in the region of Àird na Coille. The committee, known for its extremist views and anti-Syrasian sentiments, has raised alarm among both local authorities and community members.

The committee's decision to arm themselves comes in response to what they perceive as a growing Syrasian influence in the region. Syrasians, the second-largest ethnic group in Tir nan Gaidheal, have been integrating into the local community over the past years. This has likely been due to the efforts to effectively and efficiently urbanize T.N.G., catching the eye of many different peoples. As Königstahl falls into darkness, an illegitimate state dubbed Tannenreich is established. Following a meeting behind closed doors between President Miller and the exiled Queen, Kiberia had agreed to supply the opposition with troops and mechanized equipment in exchange for several diplomatic reforms should the Queen be reinstated. In line with this agreement, and the formation of the Tannenreich state, Kiberia has formed a military task force. A small naval force of two amphibious assault ships carring 70 tanks and 3400 troops in total, escorted by two frigates were deployed from Kiberia to sail towards the northwestern coast held by the opposition forces. Once deployed there the ground forces would begin to train Konigstahl's forces in an effort to overthrow the illegitimate regent.

At this moment Kiberia denies ther existence of official hostilities, and claims it is simply supporting resistance fighters.

In a press release given by the South Meridis Sea Fleet Command (MERFLTCOM), the RCN Empress Gokidō, Akita, Kanagawa, Satomi Hino, and Kei Satō, will all be deployed alongside the Landing Ship RCN Kyoshi Island in light of the recent threats made by Königstahl Regent Tristan Döhl towards foreign embassies. The official mission of the Gokidō Carrier Strike Group (CARGRU6) was stated to be to "evacuate all Norudo assets and personnel from Königstahl", however the deployed force was stated to have facilities capable of limited coastal landing capabilities, suggesting possible intervention if things went aerie. Rumors have circulated that the XII Naval Infantry Corps is deployed on the Kyoshi Island, which could be transporting up to 1,800 troops along with armored vehicles and aircraft.

It also came to light that the Ministry of Defense officially submitted an Order against Sale to NEWYK, Kaminari K.K., and IDCG in regards to Königstahl, which was stated to have immediate effect, leaving Königstahl cut off from supplies for its Norudo-originated equipment such as the S-15 and M77. This is likely to lead to Königstahl's military being put in a precarious situation, as not only will parts be restricted, but also munitions for the vehicles in question. Additionally, Norudo's Office for Military Exports, stated that it will not allow the exporting of 155 millimeter artillery shells to Königstahl.

Many on Embassy Row were shocked on Tuesday night after multiple Teitoken Kenkei Special Response Teams conducted a police raid on the Königstahl embassy. After 20 minutes of commotion and activity, Thomas Schäfer and his staff were escorted out of the building by SRT operators in handcuffs. The Teitoken Kenkei released a statement this morning saying that "the Königstahl Embassy's staff have had their diplomatic immunity revoked by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and their property has been seized as evidence by the Teitoken Kenkei and Commonwealth government pending an investigation." The Teitoken Kenkei did not disclose what the investigation was over nor the charges brought on Schäfer and his staff, but one can assume it is somehow related to the ongoing tensions in the South Meridis Sea.

As tensions heat up in the eastern Glens of T.N.G., the first shot in the recently occupied Àird na Coille. First-hand accounts vary on who shot first, but as far as Ceannard Cinnidh Suther says, the A-SC had been the perpretrator. Back west, Ceannardan Cinnidh (Clan Chiefs) as well as the Standing Council of Gaelic Chiefs has petitioned the People's Leader to meet in the Monadh-Og Diplomatic Building, which Colom Padraig swiftly approved. Also in Monadh-Og, the rumors of the Prime Executor Decision to initiate federal investigations on suspected leaders was confirmed yesterday in a press conference in which Mr. Padraig sat with notably right-wing reporter Robher mac a' Lugg, who criticized Mr. Padraig for his lack of affirmative action in regards to recent conflict in Violetia and even in T.N.G., calling his effort to compromise, quote, "a compensation for a lack of effort." To this, Mr. Padraig responded, "you are entitled to your opinion."

Many zealous nationalists have taken to the streets in Monadh-Og and adjacent cities, citing this event as the catalyst to the "Great Revolution," a slogan used very frequently in Gaelic White-Supremacist groups. Some have even taken to violent protests outside of cities, calling Mr. Padraig a "tyrant" and "architect of the destruction of Gaels." While local Clan Authorities seem to handle these respective issues in their own communities, Monadh-Og struggles to combat with this "loud minority of racists" (Democracy.tng). Many people have voiced their support for Mr. Padraig, and their disdain for the racism brooding in T.N.G. Protests have since then died down, but times are uncertain, and Colom Padraig has as of yet not written anything on his own editorial, The People's Word.

Chiho's newest nuclear reactor begins operation

CHUKYO — Chiho's newest nuclear reactor came online today in Mizuho Province, after being delayed for nearly two years. The new reactor signals a major step towards the country's climate change goals set by the Toyoda government in 2016. The reactor is located at Mizuho Energy's Hirasawa Nuclear Power Generation Facility, and is the latest addition to Chiho's nuclear power infrastructure.

The Chihoese government has been promoting the development of the country's nuclear power industry as part of a strategy to reduce Chiho's greenhouse gas emissions and to move towards a more sustainable energy grid. The new nuclear reactor has been welcomed by environmental groups, who see nuclear power as an important part of the solution to combat climate change.

Although welcomed by many, the expansion of the Hirasawa facility faced backlash from local residents as they feared adverse health effects and the risk of nuclear accidents stemming from the operation of the facility. Officials from Mizuho Energy and the national Nuclear Energy Safety Commission has assured locals that the "new and existing reactors at the Hirasawa facility, and at other nuclear power plants in Chiho, meet or exceed our country's world-class nuclear safety regulations". WAR BEGINS

OFFENSIVE OPERATIONS BEGIN IN KÖNIGSTAHL

After a short period of animosity following the brutal government suppression of protests, government forces began to attack the insurgents of self proclaimed "Tannenreich".

In the North, rallying around the exiled queen, around 30,000 guerilla fighters, as well as several military bases in the North defecting to the insurgents providing the opposition with much needed weapons. Due to the rural and mountainous area of the North, the military presence remains sparse. The lack of opposition allowed for Tannisch forces to quickly take the cities of Sturmwald, Rosenheim, Friedensberg, and Bärenburg before meeting resistance as they drew near to Neustadt and Eichendorf.

In the South, the protests turned into an occupation. Protestors took control of several blocks inside of Voltenheim and Stattenburg. To crack down on the occupation of Königstahl's two largest cities they bring in tens of thousands of troops in an attempt to regain control, however due to saboteurs, defections, and the tens of thousands of fighters in the cities, they were unable to.

Regent Tristan Döhl gives a speech outside of a bunker close to Glückstadt.
He says "Königstahl will not be harrased and beaten by traitors. We will stand strong. Terrorists may threaten the very existence of our way of life, however we will pull through to absolute victory and put these traitors in the ground like they belong. The Northerner's and urbanites try to overthrow us, however their attempts are futile. No matter the struggle, we will win."

In response to Döhl's speech, Queen Elisabeth von Tanix outside of a military base as she oversees training troops says
"Die Regierung hat unsere Menschen viel zu lange unterdrückt. Unsere Leute haben im Laufe der Zeit viele Namen getragen, unter vielen Regimen. Aber kein Regime hat unsere Menschen so lange unterdrückt wie dieses. Die Unterdrückung begann nicht im Jahr 2024, sondern im Jahr 2003.
