The SS Imperial Xofrautan, one of the newest yet reliable liners of the Grand Phibetan Imperial Line was traveling through its standard route from the Port of Nadeshiko in Katase, the Port of Sauville in Abetton, the port of Gallagher in Phibeta’s Colony of the Carune Isles, to the Territory of Jabutii, to Southlock in Phibeta. A corrupt and insane captain who is the nephew of George Carlton, after the constant harassment for his uncle’s actions, decides to employ revenge by raming the ship onto the ice (or exploding the boilers) and abandoning the ship, men first, then women, then children if there is room. A story of tragedy, cold-heartedness, and humanity on one cold night.

Whether you survive, perish, or are caught up in the peril is all up to you. From the rich aristocracy to the poor immigrant, how you survive is up to you. You probably won't survive the sinking. But maybe luck happened to be on your side, you survive this whole ordeal. What do you do now? Will you go on?

Rules of the play

1. As all of you read, this is a historic RP, keeping in mind that it is 1873. Let me repeat. Historical RP.

2. With that said, this is a disaster and character RP. This should be a chance for people to develop their national history and the people who inhabit it, as well as canonically kill off a few characters.

2.1 Human and Humanoid characters only (I don’t care how you make or describe the characters, make them 1000 years old, make them immortal, as long as it is within reason though (probably shouldn’t have given that example IDK).

2.2 For profile images, if you are going to use them, please put spoilers or provide a link to said image.

2.3 I don’t think I have to remind everyone, but this thread should be PG-13. We are not painting nor describing anyone like Jack’s French girls alright? Good.

2.4 I have put in the application with the question of immigrating, both yes, no, and dying en route.

3. As far as it’s concerned, I’ll be in control of the captain and a few various other officers and staff.

4. This RP starts as the ship is already underway in the middle of the leg between the Port of Gallagher from the Phibetan Colony of The Cartune Isles to the Phibetan Territory of Jabutii, close to wear the collision starts.

4.1 I want to take a vote on whether or not to start right when the collision starts, or hours before at sea. I’ll probably open that up to you guys, so feel free to express any of that.

5. If you wish for one of your ships to pick up survivors, that is alright. DM me about it first. I’ll only accept a limited number of passing ships picking up passengers.

6. It should be noted that the captain has deliberately switched lifeboat regulations, Men first, then women, then children if there is room. Take that as you will.

7. If you have any other questions, please ask me here in the OOC or TG me! Don't worry, I won't bite!
