Does anyone know the current population of NS, and the current GNP? Would be interesting to keep a running count.

I have a (somewhat outdated) count of total population here: https://www.nationstates.net/page=dispatch/id=1660820

As for GNP (if you mean Economic Output), I'll see what I can do for that. I'm aware that different nations have different currencies and they may not all be the same but for the purpose of pure stats alone, summing them up is easy, if a little tedious due to the sheer amount of data needed.

EDIT: With regards to answer below, yes you can simply multiply the average with the number of nations. If you want a historical trend, you will need the daily dumps.

Well, in terms of population there are currently 270,271 "living" nations, and if you take the average population of 4,048,920,000 and multiply it by that, you get 1,094,305,657,320,000!

Using the same method, this will pit us at 365,830,000,000,000 * 270,744 (as of right now), which is 9.90 x 10¹⁹ monetary units (again, assuming ALL nations use the same currency for the sole purpose of this).

Which in short translates to 99 quintillion.
