Norad Okhemot is a political and news talk show host based in Sark Le Coq, IQQ. He is of Jewish background. He is the host of the show "Norad Okhemot's News Casting Experience (NONCE)", a show where most of the time, Norad, speaks about politics and expresses his rightist views. But here, he is broadcasting the news headlines of today. His show is accessible on his very own mobile app, which is seen here.

One thing about Norad Okhemot is that you should never board a plane with him. Because he always ends up destroying the left-wing.

Norad Okhemot:
Hello everyone and welcome to Norad Okhemot's News Casting Experience. My name is Norad Okhemot and today I will be discussing the 99th Worldvision Song Contest in Densmouth, Carrelie.
Iqq Northwest Bir Tawil Halaib Triangles is currently performing the 12th position, where Skittles Teeth, FurryRawrXDUwU and leader Daz Fred are performing in front of the world.
So lets say, hypothetically, that if after their performance, where would they be able to end up? A heavy and intricate thought would presumably be needed to predict their placement at the end. To continue on to this, it is fairly obvious that the fact that we send jokesters to perform in front of many people adds to the fact that Iqq will end up in the bottom tail-end with the other nations, such as Vartugia and Placely Placington.
After having a brief review of Iqq's rehearsal performance, it is fair to say that our country is getting nowhere in the fact that both of our performers are on stage, jumping around and dancing like lunatics.
The fact that the IQQ leader Daz Fred makes a short, direct appearance to state a negative declaration about his stance and views upon Worldvision as a contest, does not seem like the best idea as it is absolutely discourteous to be saying that in front of such an audience.

Norad strongly opposes Daz Fred and hates him. This is because Daz Fred is strongly far-left, and Norad's political views oppose Daz Fred's. F O R T U N A T E L Y Unfortunately, IQQ is a Kakistocratic Authoritarian Regime, where nobody can even remotely have a say or a selection in a better person at all.

Norad Okhemot:
Carrelie seems to be taking alright care of them, however. Even though I strongly believe that this entry is just plain, outright stupid, I still hope for the best for any possibility and circumstance where IQQ is even awarded a point.

Regretfully will have to withdraw Adab and Faraby, as RL priorities take precedence. Will be back for 100 though!

Sadly withdrawing, pageant season and RL matters (mostly university stuff) makes things very hectic at the moment, see you in 100 though!

The Britonish entry is complete! Thank you to everyone who helped me pick the song. The Estogian entry is also complete for the first time since WV91. It's been a long time since I was able to submit both nations! Good luck to everyone :)

Also, the WVC has ruled that Robloxian Robloxia's entry does not meet its quality standards and is thus DSQ.

STATEMENT FROM VARTUGIA

As Vartugia was to summit their jury votes for Worldvision Song Contest, the Worldvision Committee and the host broadcaster (for WSC99 being Résë Públie Déntroîs or "RPD") had flagged our votes after they deemed as "irregular and invalid" and in the end presented us with a different set of juryvotes. Vartugia had followed every rule from capital letter to period. And yet the votes were deemed unsuited for Worldvision.

Our true votes went as follows...

12 - Vartugia
10 - Vartugia
8 - Vartugia

7 - Vartugia
6 - Vartugia
5 - Vartugia
4 - Vartugia
3 - Vartugia
2 - Vartugia
1 - Vartugia

Vartugia demands the Worldvision Committee to stop rejecting our votes and forcing us to use "more suited votes".

Thank you & Here's the score breakdown from me :D

Postby Britonisea » Tue Jun 07, 2022 4:20 pm

Helloooo everyone! I thought I should make this real official and post my initial ranking here on the OOC thread! It's been a year and a half but I'm so happy to be lifting the trophy once again! The 90s have been full of disappointment for me, after winning the jury twice and not quite doing well in the televote, dropping out of the top 10 in like four WorldVision decades, final year at university forcing me to withdraw both my nations from the competition so it's great to finish the 90s on a high - finally winning that damn televote haha! It really means a lot. Here's a little anecdote for you, for those of you who were around at the 55th WorldVision Song Contest, when I sent Mehkl (the second winner of VM), I sent him with a Marco Mengoni song and didn't really do as well as I had hoped. I love this guy as a singer, I had already sent him in WV54 and I sent him again in WHF54 (I think) with mixed results so I checked out his music all the way in October (8 months ago) and found Duemila volte and immediately fell in love with it and had the same feeling I felt when I found Becky Hill - Space and knew that this was a song I just had to send to WorldVision/or somewhere.

Image

I pondered on whether to just send it but because I had my final year at uni, I knew I couldn't do it justice and decided to submit it into Vha Mehlodhivestoile 2022. Now, while I love all my songs equally in VM as they represent the sort of music I personally listen to, I was uber-confident about the song (and gave it a naughty running order in VM - last song of the final semi-final) and so I am well happy to see that all of you responded well to the song! I was actually planning on bringing back Mehkl Maddox-Ajax to sing the song as his redemption or even Taron Woods (the third VM winner), but I felt bad I kept on using Petre and giving him songs that would lose so decided to give him a song I really loved and knew I would write the hell out of if it went to WorldVision and it got enough points to win so thank you so much. Writing the RP came so naturally to me and was definitely the most fun I've had writing an entry since I can remember!

Thank you all once again for the win at such a crucial turning point for WorldVision. I hope to see all of you at the centenary edition of the contest!

Oh, and our favourite man, Guy Autriche, is super happy right now!

Time for the scoreboard breakdown...

Britonisea's Scoreboard Breakdown

Hey Linnebourg here and this is a very OOC statement im making here but thank you all so much for having me and having a great song contest. Unfortunately I have not found that much of a passion for songwriting and i don't have too many ideas around entries and this is why my participation is sadly ending here. I've still enjoyed it and I hope worldvision continues on well.

Thank you , Linnebourg
