Isabel María de las dos Orillas, del Salé, y de Rabat, is marrying the Grand Mufti of the Turkmen Emirate. The girl, 18 years old, who is the adoptive daughter of the Sultan, is being given in marriage to the Grand Mufti of the Turkmen Emirate, 38 years old. With this marriage, both countries win because Isabel María is married to the highest religious authority of the country of which S-R is vassal while the Grand Mufti becomes family of the Salé-Rabatian royalty through marriage.
As always in this kind of weddings of such an high standard,the marriage is to be celebrated in the Osman Hezreti mosque in Ashghabat, Turkmen Emirate.
The Sultan and his daughter arrive in the same helicopter after a long plane flight. He descends first, dressed in a traditional arabic-style tunic and tends his hand to Isabel María.
They arrive, after a comfortable ride in a limousine, at the palace of the Emir, accompanied by the three wives of the Sultan.
When he sees the Emir, he makes a gesture with his hand to his daughter and his three wives, who come to him.
