Following the war between Traditionalists and Thamesholm and Wallborough (lead by Hereward the woke, who won), a coup is going to take place in Westmonkwick.
A city-state loosely based on the City of Westminster.

I’m not sure how a leftist coup would work seeing as must of them have been disarmed and many interned.
