Thamesholm and Wallborough is holding elections for the Parlement of state,
the two legal political parties are the Classical Liberal and Gender Equality Party (a party that is right-wing on many issues but also socially “progressive” and feminist) and the Social Democratic Labour Party.

The leader of the Classical Liberals is Senator Marcus Avery (former Lord-President and former police officer convicted of crimes against humanity),
the leader of the Social Democratic Labour Party is Senator Percival Smith MD
(A left-wing practising Christian and paediatrician).

Common talking points include selection in education, conscription
and the specifics of which offences should be punishable by death.

The leader of the Classical Liberals is Senator Marcus Avery (former
Lord-President and former police officer convicted of crimes against humanity) says he would have capital punishment as a mandatory punishment for espionage murder, treason and inciting genocide unless commuted by the Lord-President. He also wants it to be optional for arson, hate speech and being a crime boss.


the leader of the Social Democratic Labour Party is Senator Percival Smith MD
(A left-wing practising Christian and paediatrician) wants the death penalty to be optional for murder, espionage, treason, inciting genocide, arson, rape and severe child abuse.

On the topic of selective education Marcus Avery is in support for all of secondary schooling whilst Percival Smith thinks no selection in educational institutions should happen before sixth-form.

Both think conscription should extend to all classes and both think educated, woke conscripts should be offered officer positions.
Percival Smith agrees with alternative civilian service for conscientious objectors but Marcus Avery does not.

The Social Democratic Labour Party lead by Percival Smith has won the election with a 2.7% lead.
A recount took place and they still won.
