Inhale... Exhale...
I just wanna say that I deeply apologize for not finishing the comic series for the winter olympics on time. I know I should've finished what I started but things got in the way, especially things related to scheduling (Uni admissions test) and delayed what could've been a finished storyline. Hopefully, with the next big comic on planning phase, I have everything ready for upload! Okay, I've probably delayed what you've been waiting for a long time. SO, here we go! A summary of the ending!

OBJECTION! PI IS INNOCENT!
Yep, PI is innocent. PI challenged Da'el's claim that PI was participating in exterminating Da'el's culture by using the Rule of Alezia (basically like the Native Alezians' constitution that still applies in some modern cases). PI used Page 75 No. 6 which if translated to English, says:

No Alezian tribal leader shall wear his/her honorary scarf folded, as it symbolizes a folded future, which should not happen to Alezia where its future must continue to be as flexible and freestanding as possible, changing by chances and not locked into a definitive option

What this means that the person on the picture couldn't possibly be PI because as a tribal chief, PI was supposed to keep his looks according to the rules (else he'll be in massive trouble). PI never had his scarf folded, especially the scarf of Alikaiwa, which in Alezian culture, is INSANELY sacred and anyone who fold it on their necks could be convicted of "misusing" it. So PI defeated the claim by saying that it's not him that was there, but someone else with a scarf.

Da'el admitted defeat, but PI in an uncommon case of wisdom, decided that he's not pressing charges against Da'el, instead calling it a tie where PI and Da'el were each responsible for some stuff and must face some punishment each. For PI, he was to fight for reintroduction of Tonal Alezian in the modern Alezian Union. And for Da'el, he's going to open up about who was Nika (the missing child that has been hanging around North)'s real parents was. PI and Da'el were finally at peace again.

Da'el told North that Nika's parents were the only family remaining other than himself living in a walkable distance from his house. Apparently, Nika came from a tribal chief family named the Kawane'i (three positions under PI) that tried so long to keep the Tonal system alive, but that attempt made them close-minded to the outside world.

FROZEN RIVER? NOT ANYMORE!
Da'el finally opened up to North about the frozen river. It was Da'el who froze the river with magic. He said it was to create a small enough chaos but noticeable to have PI come to his place (Da'el has wanted PI to come to his place to finish the above business for a long time). North talked Da'el out of it, saying that the River Pyalivostok was a river that has raised happy generations of children and asked Da'el if he really wanted those smiles gone for finishing some grudge, Da'el said no, and reversed the magic. But, Da'el has another request before he can reverse the magic.

Every year, Da'el was to observe the skies to look at the stars from the observatory on the second floor in his house (hence why we have the skies on the cover of the comic). He was to search for the Aquarius star constellation in order to open that year's farming season in Native Alezian culture. But for some reason, the stars are just not there. Da'el wanted to see those stars first before he fully reverses the magic.

North had visited Da'el in the past, and gave something to his family a long time ago. North lead Da'el to an old PC North gave to Da'el years ago. North booted it up into a galactic map, helping Da'el search for the star. With the program's help, North and Da'el found the star constellation. A relieved and happy Da'el reversed the magic, returned the river into its flowing pristine condition.

NIKA IS A CURSED CHILD?
After Da'el signed to a small house far away that the farming season could start soon through a shout, a man ran quickly, only to find his son that he has despised. When North found out that this man was the one who has thrown such a smart and innocent child away, North confronted the man. North was surprised that the Da'el's father looked extremely similiar to North himself, just with a scar slashing his left eye. And no, the guy is not North's family. Just a crazy case of Doppelganger. Maybe that's why Nika trusted North so much, he looked like his father, just a lot nicer.

The guy introduced himself to be In'u Ka-una-ke-u Kawane'i, but the introduction was cut short by Nika trying to hug his actual father, but he got shoved away, which activated North's "Protective Father" senses. Before North did anything, North asked In'u why he did that. In'u answered that Nika's nature that is open to change and willingness to learn and his long hair is a curse that should be brought far away. In'u then attacked North with magic after he thought that North supported Nika's "magical curse". PI used his tribal chief powers to ask In'u to stop, but he refused, saying that PI is not worthy of the title.

In'u uses an offensive attack at North that flung the gang (except for South Alezia, this is important later) breaking Da'el's wall and flew to In'u's house yard. North willing to defend Nika uses his emotional tears out of genuine worry for Nika's future and froze his tears out of anger into a double sword. A fight scene ensues (that I might draw later in the future) with North losing and In'u turning into a giant.

Back in Da'el's house, South woke up from his fainting, and realized that the wall is broken. Witnessing a giant beating up North heated up South that it caused some ice outside of Da'el's house to melt. South acted immediately by skiing to the place as fast as he can holding a rifle on his back. As In'u thought he was winning, his giant form was distracted by a small but notable shot of a bullet from South (another scene I might draw in the future). But here's the thing. In'u can't see South because while South can't stand being in cold for too long, he atleast learned snow military tactics. So here we have South distracting In'u while the others try finding a way to disable In'u's power.

The team has nothing in them because In'u has became too strong for anyone to handle. Perhaps the problem is unsolvable?

IT REQUIRES A MOM
Just as the team was about to give up, an adult woman walked out from In'u's house. She has some features that looked like Nika. It was Nika's mother. She looked around to see random people with the local priest in shock over his husband's anger towards their child. The mother becomes angry when she realized what In'u has done to Nika and said a spell that disabled In'u's power. (Women in Native Alezian culture is no joke, they are equally powerful as men, sometimes even stronger. Perhaps this is why Alezia was comfortable with having a lot of female premiers, including the present one, Sa'idah Mahmudaisyah?)

The woman whose name is Kin'ara confronted In'u about him lying to her about Nika. Apparently, In'u lied about Nika saying that he was lost in a horse accident, but in truth, Nika was left alone far from home in Pyalivostok winter. Kin'ara emphasizes on how someone foreign that doesn't really hold the true Alezian values (North, since he is not fully native), acts more Alezian than her own husband. Kin'ara then asked her husband the question North was about to ask: Whether it is really worth throwing his own blood away just to keep everything in the status quo? At one point, their livelihoods was going to change just like everyone else, no one can change that. It's human nature. All people can do is to decide how to move forward with it, not trying to hold themselves against it.

Kin'ara also pointed out that even if Nika is "cursed", there is a Native Alezian saying that translates to "With great leaps, someone can overthrow the throne through the spikes", which means that people can change their future if they try to, even if there were going to be challenges. Kin'ara said that the family could still be happy as long as they faced those challenges without giving up on one another. In'u thought for himself, and realized that they can fight against this "curse", and the group watched as In'u opened up and apologized to Nika as they reunited into one happy family. South appeared out of hiding in the forest at this point. A good ending nevertheless.

In the morning, the Alezian Union members said goodbyes to their Tonal Alezian friends, and as North was about to walk away, Nika ran after North for a last hug (perhaps another drawing is in order?) before saying his final-final goodbye. And thus concludes the story where openness into the truth can break a frozen river, freeing memories that were once in ice.
