◈ Congress of Nations Application Guide ◈

✦ Greetings! We are excited that you are considering to join the CN Region; ✦

Here, you will be posting your application form, so that we can properly integrate your nation into our region.

It's really simple, all you have to watch out for are the RP guidelines listed below;

Your nation must be human, modern tech, claim a physical location on the ✦MAP, and be adequately realistic;

We follow a full-immersion policy, meaning there are little cultural references to the real world (Example: There is no Jesus or Christianity, but there may be an equivalent with a different name if you wish)

In addition, NS stats such as population and GDP are not necessarily canon! Due to NS's population system, it can get pretty unrealistic; so for the sake of fun and realistic RP, we decided that it's better if instead factbooks dictate what is canon. Which brings us to...

NO POWER OR GOD MONGERING (Naturally). Be realistic when it comes to RPs and your nation. No nation is perfect, and no side can always win. It's what makes roleplay exciting and fun, don't ruin other people's experience.

The nation is fairly centrist and liberal, containing plenty of political sects for voters.

Finally getting my app up!

Country Name (Full) The Republic of Zhever

Country Name (Short) Zhever

General Description:

Zhever, or officially, the Republic of Zhever, is a country on the continents of Hydera and Orrana. It is the largest country on the Hyderan continent, with a size of over 1,200,000 square kilometers. It is also the most populous state in Hydera.

Zhever is a great power and a developed country, with a strong economy. Zhever is a republic, with the executive branch run by the Federal Council. The Federal Council is made up of 11 members, the ten heads of the major government departments and the Solon. The Solon is the head of the executive branch.

The people of Zhever are originally from much farther north, in Central Andesia, but travelled to modern Zhever in the 3rd Century BCE. The Zheverans settled in the Ghraito Plateau, a high mountainous area in the center of the region. The western portion of the country is a warm, mediterranean climate, with the east being a mix of subtropical forests and desert.

Population 161,110,000 (as of October, 2021)

The ANR prides itself on its heritage as a seafaring "trade empire", with a strong economy focused on the trading of lucrative goods. Its government is based around a nominally balanced triumvirate of legislative, judicial, and executive leaders though the judicial is generally recognized as the supreme leader of the nation.

Looks good! However we need to discuss the map claim. This is our suggestion:

Would these borders suffice? We believe it is more appropriate considering your population. It might not seem like it, but this is a lot of land, so you will still own enough to be a major trade power!

Also, you are allowed to use the Esperanto language, but change its name please.

Could you expand your description a bit more? Maybe describe what your people are like, or perhaps what is your nation's current biggest concern; its just a technicality, but it would still be very much appreciated!

Your language can be english, but please change its name for the sake of RP. Also note that Weivaren also has an english sounding language, in case you two want to make some lore for the reason behind that (completely optional)

Quick question guys; is this a recruiting thread for a game region, or for a roleplay? If it's for the region, then this is the right forum; if it's just for a roleplay one of the mods will need to give it a tow over to the appropriate RPing forum.

Would these borders suffice? We believe it is more appropriate considering your population. It might not seem like it, but this is a lot of land, so you will still own enough to be a major trade power!

Also, you are allowed to use the Esperanto language, but change its name please.

Those borders are good, if its possible though I'd like to see if I could claim this piece of territory. If not, it is totally fine. I've changed the name of Esperanto per request. I am very excited to get involved! Thank you!

After consultation we decided you can have one of those two territories on that peninsula, which one is up to you! We just think two would be a bit too much.

It's looking increasingly like it's a roleplay sign-ups. There's no real advertising of the region / gameplay news of it, instead you're just asking players to submit roleplay-related information, and for map claims. As per the Guide to the Gameplay forum, those kinds of threads don't belong here.

Kochyana needs to let us know which of the roleplay forums this best fits in (my guess is either International Incidents or NationStates) and I'll move it over. Otherwise I'll have to guess...

We apologize for any confusion arisen by our thread. While we assure you that this indeed is a region sign-up, and not a roleplay one, as we ask for information needed to properly integrate nations into our immersive region, and assure nobody is breaking our full-immersion rule; we will understand if you wish to move us somewhere else and will comply with your decision.

However, we ask if there is a way we could alter our thread to more resemble it's intended purpose, which is a region sign-up. If not, that is fine; and we once again apologize for any inconvenience.

Pretty much the entirety of what you've got is what should go in a roleplay forum. If you were just advertising your region and posting news (which must include gameplay content), then it could be okay here -- but asking people to sign up to roleplaying with RP information is not appropriate for here. I'm therefore relocating the thread.
