Her tail swished back and forth rythmically, like a metronome, but perhaps more attention-grabbing than her vixen features was her strikingly red hair, which flowed down past her wait and near the end passed through a large turqoise bead. Though numerous ill-advised adventures and a general desire to get places fast had made Z an expert at the art of running in a long dress, today she wore a more standard pair of jeans and a green t-shirt, along with a worn but reliable pair of khaki hiking boots and a backpack of the same color. Perhaps her dress, which like her came from the Arctic, was too warm for this climate, or perhaps it had finally tripped her up a few times too many.

Z was in particular keeping an eye out for a cruise liner two of her friends were due to arrive on, though for all she knew it might have already docked; she had been preoccupied by the multitude of other ships of varying types throughout the harbor, and had been variously watching and taking pictures of them for the past half hour at least. This fox couldn't stay still forever, though, and soon found herself walking rather precariously along the seawall she'd been leaning on, her arms out for balance. Eventually she started losing her balance, and thankfully was able to avoid an uncontrolled fall and sat upon the wall instead, once again looking outward.

I have a basic start but since she isn't really interacting with anyone it feels sort of like filler, though maybe that's ok since it's just her introductory post. Not sure.

Fish dishes are a speciality in Ridderli. ; )
So, there is the classic of waffles and smoked salmon, shrimp scramble if you need to be quick, fish fingers, or another quickie, Heringsaufstrich (pickled herring run through the grinder, mixed with other ingredients, for example eggs or pickles, and served with a nice bread/roll to put on) and fish sausages, usually served with salads of different variations.
Or tuna salad in general.

And there is tea, including green and black.
