This was the time where GLA does pose a threat against the occupiers and forcing the NATO to go to war with GA. At that time of the resolution, they launch nuclear weapons to some nations. But things have calmed down now that they are losing influence I guess.

We vote against this, as the GLA in its current form cannot be destroyed by a coalition, as this would definitely cause many civilian casualties due to their support for the GLA. We acknowledge that the new GLA is a major threat to the Galapagos and its government, and that it could pose a major challenge to democracy both in the Galapagos and globally, but getting rid of them in the way suggested in the proposal is not as viable as it was when the proposal was suggested. We should be focusing on peaceful means of establishing stability, as already suggested, as working to contain the riots and attempting to get the people to believe that change can be brought democratically could work well in stopping the GLA. Violently getting rid of the GLA would change little at best, and making the situation both in the Galapagos and worldwide worse at worst. We do not believe that the GLA can be negotiated with, as the Galapagos government would definitely refuse anything they come up with, but we do believe that they cannot be defeated by a coalition. As for fascism as a whole, we hope that we can prevent its rise, whether using the measures that we are suggesting for the Galapagos or otherwise, we will do as much as we can to stop fascist movements in their tracks.
